Mr. Flusher sir: thank you for all your entertaining writing. I've been enjoying it ever since I started researching our trip.

On your blog post of Friday Oct. 28 you posted a photo of Frank and the Steins and the crowd in front on Fremont. Did you take that Wednesday night? I think yes, 'cause in it is a lovely view of the back of Ace's head. He's the "block-head" :D man w/thick neck and gray-blond buzzcut, right side of photo, a little in front of the guy in the baseball cap.

Too cool that we (well Ace) is in a RF trip report.

We had about the most fun of our trip Wednesday night watching Frank and the Steins. Stood there for over 2 hours. They were awesome.

Wynn was a lot of fun, but my God the music in the evening is shite. No more chugga chugga. The best part is definitely the cappuccinos in the casino in the morning, brought to you by lovely, intelligent, and somewhat attractive young ladies. Don't worry. They don't actually like you. They are banging a 35 year old welder with a handlebar mustache "SNAP ON" tattoed above his pubic area in gothic script.

On two occasions - TWO - I flagged a Cocktail Person down to ask if she were serving in my area, and when she said she was not, she took my order and passed it on to the correct C.P. And the delicious top-notch cappucinos were delivered, hot, frothy, and forthwith.

From Wynn to T.I., is not far in distance, but miles in service, and incipient snottiness.

But it's nothing that Dr. Raoul Shibumi can't remedy!!!!

Every trip I learn something new about comps. At T.I., I had an offer for 3 free nights, $200 freeplay. They evaluated our play to see if they could take off some room charges. Basically, we earned 'x' in comps. The cost of the room to the comp bucket is normally $90.

But, because some stupid convention is on, and the hotel is full, the comp cost of the room is $120, eating up most of the comp room that would have covered room charges.

    Unbelievable.

We ditched T.I., and moved to my old pointy friend, the Luxor slot hangar. That's pretty much what the casino floor has become, a gambling barn for low-class losers like me.

I had some free play, and then I had even more in free play, and then I had even more in cash! So that went well.

I don't understand why you drew the "2". It didn't help you solidify your namesake. Although due to the denomination you could have witnessed the drawn & quartered RF.
    Where r the Halloween pics?

The hand is a bit deceptive - I was almost dealt a royal on the redeal. I threw away all the cards and drew what you see there. Thus my pants-peeing.

Hi team. What a tumultuous last few days of the trip. Obviously, this was a long one. The full trip report will follow. I will be posting it 3 words at a time, dedicated to Joe. ;)

OK, I'm working on the full report. You folks are pretty loyal readers, so I won't bore you with the already published junk.

The post on the Cal Renovations has been updated with lots more pictures. I am wondering if the recliners we enjoyed are also in some of the regular rooms. Anyone know?

    Here's that post again:

Here's the main index page, if you do want to go back and re-read the earlier drivel.

    http://www.royalflushervegas.com/p/royal-flushers-hallowy.html

And here's Day 1 at the Cal! Woke up feeling absolute crap from all the newness in the room. Seriously thinking about asking for a non-renovated room next time, until things settle down. The safe wouldn't even work at first, until we pulled a little battery protector tab out - we were the first to use it ever. So I promptly stored some tuna salad in there, and left it locked. To put my 'scent' on it, right?

Isn't it amazing how you pine and pine for Vegas, and then you get there, and then in an hour or two you've had your ass kicked? Yeah. That.

Here's the rest of what happened on our first full day. Lots and lots of scratchcards, and by the end of the day I'd had THIRTEEN chances from four-to-a-royal. One on ten play and one on triple play.

The re-done Redwood Steakhouse is amazing. There will be lots more food porn to come.

    Yes, that's bacon.

They have this new olive bowl that replaces the sloppy olive oil fun slide they used to gush onto the table.

Thank goodness you're back. I was wondering if you'd gone into the witness protection program. I need your help getting through the next 10 days...

They are realllly yummy. They go nicely with the bread, which is pre-buttered and freshly backed.

Don't you hate it when your favorite CW disappears on you? I was fortunate that I was there on Favorite Server Judy's last day.

We're into Day 3, bring on the CTUG! The Cal casino renovations look great, and I think re-doing the sportsbook on the main floor was a stroke of genius. It's bringing a whole new crowd in i.e. people under 77.

I now recommend the omelettes at Market Street. It's probably one of the best things they do.
