She Came for the Cruise, I Came for the Booze - Live Nov 3 - 6 at V/P

My wife succumbed to the V/P cruise giveaway, so we're off for our eighth trip this year, with one more in Dec...really, we'll slow down next year...seriously, we will...

Pretty simple plan, ungodly early flight on Thursday landing about 9am, three days/nights of gambling and drinking, early flight home on Sunday to be ready for work on Monday and tell no one we were in Vegas...AGAIN!

Staying at Venetian and mostly playing there and Palazzo until we hit the desired point level. Hope to do some meet ups with our new best friends from our G2E trip and make some more friends. We'll see how much bankroll we have left by Sat nite, trying to be a bit conservative for this trip as we have a family trip in mid-Dec. Already scanning the Delmonico whisky list for a new adventure!

It was an incredible ending, even if the wrong team won.

 

Agreed, was disappointed in the inverse-Cavs approach the Tribe took, but a great series nonetheless and hard to wake up disappointed despite the result.

New Wonka game

 

Some changes to Venetian's floor since G2E. Took away all the VP that was by Bourbon Room (now closed) and added this Stadium Blackjack right by the Stadium Baccarat. 6:5, but kind of a cool concept. You and dealer are dealt two cards, then he deals community cards. Once you stand, the community cards don't impact your hand. $5 min, will play it later and see.

 

Sheldon has completely killed VP in Venetian...only in HL and a very few on the floor. Still at the bar tho

I'm usually not much of a pool guy, but that was a really pleasant afternoon

 

Nothing to report on the gambling front, but we're doing ok on the drinking front
