I hope you get this taken care of to your benefit and soon. I dislike a few things in this life. .and one of them being someone exercising power (whatever power they have in their little domain over others) to hurt or remove happiness from others intentionally just for the sake of the fact they have a certain power they can exercise (or just out of smug carelessness most likely)
Principally, these are the folks most frightening if they were plugged into bigger arenas of life in this world.

Did you only talk to the reservations line? Or did you call your host at Sunset Station? I'd contact your host directly to see if he can set up your reservation again.

However, if you've been low playing them, there's a good chance that those offers aren't available to you anymore and the mailer was sent out by mistake.

Thanks soo much for your positive thoughts got chopin. It just gets me so mad what the this host has put me through.

Sonja i did just talk with reservations. He said that i would need to talk with Toni. I only dealt with a host at sunset once back in 2013. I lost about $5000 at Green Valley. Then another $3000-$3500 at sunset a few days later. He wasn't to happy comping me as i recall. He like they just comped u a lot at Green Valley. Uhh yeah i lost a lot. Fyi i only play slots.

My play since then hasn't been really high. Except for a month ago... September trip. No where near the loss back in 2013. Yet the offers still come.

I'm sure i have been over comped. But it's very simple don't send offers, then i can't come.

Then for this host, Toni who doesn't even work there to do this. It's so maddening.

Yes, you have been overcomped. Toni putting a flag is her way of telling you so.

JMHO, not to be rude but actually the problem is you. You shouldn't take the offers if you aren't going to put in play to warrant the comp. Just because you get offers doesn't mean that you should use them. Yes, they shouldn't send you offers since your play doesn't warrant the comp anymore but the flag is the hosts way of stopping your offers. Many of these offers are coming from corporate or marketing for the company, not the casino. If you put in a lot of play one time or two they may send you comp offers with the hope that you will continue to put in as much play to justify the comp.

I don't see why you are getting upset, you aren't putting in play to warrant the comps. Toni the host probably noticed that you were using the comps but not putting in comparable play so she flagged you so you can't use the comps anymore. She gave you ample warning that you aren't playing enough to deserve the comp and finally put the flag on so you can't use any offers unless she okays them. Not only for her casino but all casinos owned by Stations. She wants to make sure that you can't run your low play at another casino owned by this same company.

The answer is simple, 1) play at other casinos not owned by station. 2) talk to the host - Toni and try to work something out so you can still get some comps based on your lower level of play. 3) Most important - don't take any comp offers unless you plan to put in comparable play. That way you only take offers that you actually deserve.

Sorry if my comments are harsh but most of us here understand that you don't put in enough play to warrant the comp but you are getting upset at the host for flagging you for comps you don't deserve.

Actually, I don't think there is anything wrong with this. But, if you do it, you shouldn't expect comps in the future (as it seems the OP did). There are a couple properties where I decide din years past that I would never stay there again. In that case, take the comps, but don't plan on ever going back

I'm still upset with this whole situation. Even having dreams about it. I will be contacting higher ups and writing letters. My whole thing is this. I have gambled at each one of their casinos, and stayed. Lost thousands over the years. Then to be treated like this by an incompetent, no skill host that doesn't even work on property is uncalled for.

Sidenote. Several months ago i got a call from a host at another property. I see u play at sunset all the time. But id like u to come here and play. Well if i was soo low playing, and not playing enough as i know was. Why even invite me.

The whole situation could drive me drink. Fyi i hate alcohol. Lol

You should let it go and move on to that other property, IMO. No use getting worked up over it with so many other options in Vegas.

If this host does in fact have it out for you, why keep going back and trying to fight them? Vote with your feet and move to another casino and see if they are more appreciative of your play.

Sonya, I defiantly understand where your coming from. I'm just even extra bummed now that Palms is a station. As I have had a lot of play there in the past.

Plus the fact stations now gives credit for money spent at hotels , restaurants and some other venues.

Lately it's a no win situation. Maybe my money better spent on a island vacation. However i do enjoy playing the machines

You played and lost thousands over past years....got comps that were justified due to your play..... and all was good.

You consciously lower your play or no play while still using the comps offered....and all is good. Now things catch up and it is not good....for you.

From the extremely low roller's point of view, why not take your action elsewhere to a casino that would appreciate your play? I only ask this because I basically play poker and will maybe throw $100-$200 per day on slots during a 4 day trip at Hard Rock and I'm getting free room offers every month for weeknights. I'm not into ADT/Theo or whatever people talk about in some of the other topics. I have my limit and I stick to it. If I happen to hit big..I'm cashing out. Lose my max amount...I'm out. Now on top of that, I haven't been there since last May and just got the new mailer.

So I read this and look at a player like you who has lost more in 1 trip than I have put in a machine probably in all my trips combined and wonder why the hang up with this property? Let it go and move on as they have obviously decided to move on from you. There are other properties out there that will show you the love and such. I know for a fact if you posted a topic asking what properties would get you the most comps based on your CURRENT action you will get some honest answers/suggestions.

Everyone has the machines you love. Now it's just a matter of finding another property that loves you loving their machines.

If you want to keep playing at Station casinos, you need to contact your actual host at Sunset and see if he can give you some kind of resolution to the issue. If not, your only options are to accept it, or move your play elsewhere.

I fully agree what Sonya said above.
To @Sofrustrared69, you have my sympathy.
For non-locals, Stations are the worst places to get comps in Vegas, period.

Kps- i just played there in September. Big play and lost.

I must stress this host who canceled my reservation. Doesn't even work there. She's looking in the system fot my reservation and is flagging me. Maybe she's mad i gave other casinos business.

I have played all over town. Hit the strip hard years ago. Won a few large tournaments. The only places i haven't played are Bellagio, Wynn and Encore. As well as Aria

Kps i did play Hard Rock a few years ago. I remember hitting a jackpot for over $1500. Yet i was still down a lot. I did get comps on the weekdays as well, and a few weekends. I do like it there. It's just the machines soo tight.

Je Jas, stations has been good with offers to me. However i have put in a lot of play over the years. As i was chairmen for 2. President for several.

Sonya. my host at sunset won't even return my calls. He was off Monday and Tuesday. This the second day back and nothing.

So i just want to update. I got win losses from 2009-2016. A totai loss of over $62,000. Not one of those years did i have a positive year. The last 2 years were $2807 and $2645 loss. 2014 a little over $10,000. But 2013 $28,455!!

It makes my blood boil still. I wouldn't have been a bit angry had she even changed the canceled reservation to casino rate, then base on play. But to flag and cancel. Down right criminal.

Thanks for the update. I'm going to go ahead and close this thread though. Lots of good advice offered previously.
