Does the Downtown Grand still give you some coupons when you check in? If so, what are they for?
    Anybody stay there lately?

We were there two weeks ago for three nights. The only perks/coupons are whatever your mailer or email offer from them provides. Ours was two comped nights (and that includes waiver of the resort fee), a free entree at Freedom Beat, and $20 of free play. No coupon book at check-in or anything like that. They do have promotions during the week in the casino. We earned three bottles of mediocre wine on Tuesday in addition to the usual points.

I was just here the past weekend for a 2 night comp, with slot tournament. They did give a $5 free play and $10 match bet.

Plus was here at the beginning of October on 2 night comp, $40 in free play and $10 food credit. They also gave the $5 free play and $10 match play. The wording on free play comments are odd as i recall.

Last week there was a $5 free slot play coupon, $10 match play coupon, BOGO entrée at Freedom Beat restaurant, and free dessert at Triple George Grill with entrée purchase. They were with room key holder.

no pizza rock coupon in my stack. and beware the prices at Freedom Beat are much higher than the S+O that it replaced. still cheaper than the strip I suppose, but high for downtown.

When we were at Downtown Grand towards the end of September we received coupons for $5 free slot play and $10 match play. When signing up for the Players Club Card we also received a credit on the card but I can't remember if it was $5 or $10.

Coupons were pretty good for the first year or so but now not so impressed. At least they still have one or two I would use...
