Going to be in Vegas soon. Anyone know if Boyd has taken over Aliante and Eastside Cannery yet? Not really looking forward to any changes at Aliante or Eastside Cannery...

Perhaps they're now running them but don't officially own them yet? Pit boss at Aliante expected them to close on it in September...

New chips at Aliante as of a few weeks ago. Old players card system is still being used.

They won't switch players club at Aliante until next year. Unless I missed it the sale for Canneries hasn't closed. Don't know why.

I hope they don't do like the bank that was running Aliante for the last 4 or more years -- those of us that had comps in our table games accounts got them zero'd out when Station was out as the casino operator..that was a really bad move. Pissed me & others off that they just took away our comps with no notice. I've been gambling at Aliante every trip to Vegas for about the last 5 or 6 years (I go over about 6AM and stay till around noon)--don't really want to switch, but I will if Boyd makes changes I don't like. I did dump Boulder Station from my typical day of gambling (went there in the afternoon after Aliante) after the one daytime dealer I really like died last year. I'm pretty close to making the M my afternoon choice after trying them out along with Red Rock and Golden Nugget.
