seen this from Harrahs New Orleans Facebook yesterday, for anyone who has never signed up with TR, they will give you 2000 tier points and 500 more if you download the TR app.

not sure if it applies to all the CET casinos, it should, so if you know someone not a member, heres a nice jump start

photobucket is useless this morning so if the pic is small its straight from my computer

I have a question for you NewOrleansSlimm.

Can you use your Diamond or 7 Star Celebration Voucher at Mannings?

Not sure about the voucher, but according to the latest Partner list, yes, and at 1:1.

I would guess that if you can use RCs, you should be able to use the vouchers.

    Thanks NOLASlimm and Dialun.

I still need to use my celebration dinners before Jan 31 so sounds like a good place to use in January.
Sorry I will miss you Dialun,

Slimm - we will be there with some other friends doing their 7 star trip. It has been 2 years since we were there and last time we got tickets for the Pelicans in Harrah's suite. Do you ever do that? Our host retired and the one on my TR play app - says not available - whatever that means.

stop by the palm room and say hi, when you visit, im usually in there drinking...a lot has changed in 2 years,,,they had a mass host firing earlier this year so they are all new except for a few that made it through, most of the new ones came from the promotions area

I have been to the game in harrahs suite when they were still the hornets, it was nice, not a huge selection of liquor but had the basics, tons of food ect...i think they still have the suite for the games at the arena, plus they have lower seating. last year they said they gave up the suite at the superdome and only had lower seating as they said it was too expensive but seems they reconsidered that...i havent been back to either on behalf of harrahs though

bunch of changes, new carpet, tiled walkways, non smoking in both the hotel and casino. hotel recently renovated...they are in the process now and should be finished by the time you get here, if you are a smoker, they made sections outside for people to smoke, now in valet, they are doing construction and will have slot machines outside...

there is also a bowling alley in the 1st floor of the 2nd parking garage near mannings, expensive but nice

Will definitely do that. Plan on arriving Sunday Jan 22 and will be in the Palm's room that afternoon. Hope they still have those wonderful pralines. Does it still open from noon - 8 on Sunday.
When we went to the arena - it was the Hornets also.

Interesting about the hosts. - Probably why my host shows unavailable.

ill be there thurs-sat but yes thats the hours for sunday, they dont always list them but usually keep the pralines in the kitchen, they do however limit your food and drinks but lately really havent been swiping anyone to keep track, as I always say, tip and they look the other way

as for the host app thing, it showed my 2 previous host but not my current one for new orleans, several in las vegas dont show up either

we were there in early October and were told NO on the $100 diamond voucher, anywhere other than the buffet. (believe me we tried and talked to multiple people, managers, etc)

im not doubting you that they gave you issues, not sure why they do, but I know for a fact you can use it at besh as my friend just used his 2 weeks ago as I was his guest...I know others who have recently used theirs at mannings also...they get sketchy about ruth chris though...although the buffet is usually good, all the casinos here and most in mississippi have cut back so I wouldnt waste it on the buffet unless its a friday/saturday and that was last option

Let me reveal my ignorance by asking who I contact to use my $100 Diamond dinner. I plan to use it on a trip to Harrah's N.O. in December. Do I go to the TR people and get a voucher or what. I will be staying in Harrah's hotel so should I charge it to the room? I hope Slimm is right about being able to use it at Manning's or Besh. Those were the top choices for us.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes get the voucher from the TR desk. Any amount left after the voucher is applied, just charge to the room (or pay with RCs if you prefer).

Just to clarify, any amount over the $100, just charge to your room. You get no "change back" if your bill is under $100. Another note, they will NOT reprint the voucher if it gets lost.

dont take "no" for an answer, as I said, about 3 weeks now, my friend used his at besh, I was present for that, sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice steak...now for mannings, yes you can charge the overage to the room, besh im not 100% sure but I dont think you can charge to the room...they all take reward credits at 2:1
