I'll be staying at Flamingo for my first time on a Saturday night in November for 1 night ($28 room rate plus $29 resort fee and taxes for a total of $64, which is quite a bargain for a Saturday night especially for a gold card holder as myself). The next morning I'll be catching Megabus home to Los Angeles where I'll get Lyft/Uber from Flamingo to the South Strip bus terminal where the Megabus picks up but before that I intend to walk to either Arco or 7 Eleven to buy sandwiches for the 6 hour bus ride home. Does anyone have any experience with which convenient store has a better selection of sandwiches or snacks. I see that a Shell gas station is near there as well. Or are there other convenient stores nearby in walking distance that you'd recommend? I noticed on Flamingo's website that they have a food court with a L.A. Subs and that could be an option as well for me.

You'll get some great sandwiches at the Hilton timeshare cafe right behind the pool at Flamingo. Anyone can go in, follow the path behind the pool and under the monorail walkway and you'll see the back entrance to the cafe. Very close, reasonable and excellent food and a good little supermarket that sells all the basic.

I'd walk down to Planet Hollywood or across the street to CP for Earl of Sandwich. Note that the prices are a bit higher at the CP location.

Peachie and Corinne are right-on in terms of good sandwiches nearby. However if you're looking more for something that is pre-packaged that can easily be stored and brought out later during a bus ride, there is a gift shop/convenience store in Flamingo (near Margaritaville) that sells pre-packaged sandwiches like you'd find in a gas station. The quality isn't exactly top-class, but they're easy to throw in a bag and dig out during a bus ride. I got one a few trips ago around 1 am when I was drunk and hungry and didn't have any negative after-effects.

You won't be disappointed at their deli. They also have salads and fruit cups. All excellent value and delicious.

The 2017 ACG coupon book which I just received today has a BOGO LA Sub coupon which I'll likely make good use of as well.
