Yup. When I checked in I thought it strange i didn't have to sign the electronic pad, but figured it was a comp room so maybe I didn't have to. They never finished assigning me the room in the system or something.

Back home, made good time about 50 minutes. I lost but had a good time playing poker. Funny how they can't waive the resort fee but I can pay for it and the $5 tax using comps.

I forgot to post pics of my room itself.

Thanks for the report. I'm so glad you enjoyed your short trip. I love staying at the Borg.

Funny about the room assignment. I've always had to sign for a comp room, so you're probably right about the incomplete assignment.

Stupid about the resort fee, but I would take $50 in food instead every time.

    Nice pics!

VPFree2 says Borgata still has 9/6 JoB (99.54%) for quarters, even at some of the bars, fyi.

Looks like an awesome place. Maybe one of these days I'll get there. But I think it is probably cheaper for me to just go to Vegas. Lol

Yes $50 is better as long as I get back within 90 days to use it.

I am not a big VP player, only played about $40 even though pay tables could of been better.

Borgata is pretty nice, I am not a fan of any of the other AC properties anymore. not sure about nugget though since have never been.

Thanks for the report, that view of the marina never gets old. Never stayed at Borgata, but it's on the list. Love that pool area in the Water Club. The Borgata keeps investing and staying fresh and it's no wonder why it's the best of the bunch in that market.

The Golden Nugget is much smaller and it seems to be tight with comp rooms, never stayed there. It has a nice VP bar and in the summer the Deck bar is awesome with live music several times a week. Sometimes a cover band called "Don't Call Me Francis" plays on weekends, they are awesome. Plus, several restaurants like Chart House and Vic & Anthony's have happy hour.

Omg, I remember going to see "don't call me Francis" probably 10-15 years ago. I think in Bensalem area, some barn type bar, and some other places

Good memory, that place was actually called The Barn, and it was torn down some years ago. But the band is still rocking, they are booked into the Eden Lounge at Harrahs on November 11th.

Thanks for the great TR, Fligster!
I've never been to AC, but your report and awesome pics are doing their best to convince me to give it a visit at least once.

Nice report and Borgata photos, classiest place in AC.,GN has one tower compared to five at Harrahs so it's tougher to get comp rooms CET resort fees are up to $32 for gold and platinum.,maybe we'll start taking day trips to Borgata to see if they comp us rooms.

Saw another thread and couldn't believe the CET resort fee cost for AC. At least borgata is "only" $10.

Nice report and photos. CET'S resort fees are $32 unless you have a Diamond or 7 star card. CET does give away lottsa rooms probably because they have tons of them to comp (for $32). Maybe we'll do some day trips to Borgata and see if they'll comp us a room

Great TR. I've never stayed at Borgata (always end up at Trop or Claridge now), but I do like to visit. Great photos, too.

Great TR, and I agree that you take some great pictures! It's funny that you mention stopping in Deptford, as we do that probably every other trip to grab a bite. I'll have to try out that Mission BBQ. Looks good. And I LOVE Water Club. Probably one of my favorite casino-related hotels anywhere. As to the point about their VP pay tables, I did find one of the 9/6 JoBs in front of that one cashier cage. I ran about $80 through it with minimal success.

It's going to be interesting to see how the MGM ownership unfolds. Don't tinker too much is all I ask.
