Signed up for 7:00 poker tournament. Grabbed a quick bite at bread + butter, got Cuban, it's not bad.

Just in case I don't do well in the tournament, I reserved a free comedy club ticket for the 9:00 show.

Great photos. Good luck in the tournament. I miss the Borg. Switched to CET so comps could be used a strip props. Now that they are going MGM next year will definitely be going back a lot more.

I did the same thing. Wondering if it's worth going back now that they're going to be an mLife property. It is a little rich though :(

This poker room is huge. I hadn't played poker at the borgata in years and years, I believe at that time the poker room was down the escalators where're the amphora lounge is now. That's what I remember anyway

Nice. At least you're still in it and are missing the comedy show ...

Hope the cards fall your way for an all in with a big win!

Enjoying your Borgata pics - nice view from the room. Played there twice but never stayed yet.

My brother managed a dairy farm years ago in King of Prussia - beautiful country side right in the middle of a large metro area - great memories. And don't get me started on hoagies, lol, miss those PA and Jersey hoagies.....only get up there once a year.

Yes, I have been to it a couple of times in the past. "Comedy" is used very loosely.

I tripled up with pocket 8's so I have a little better stack to work with, not much but better than it was.

Sorry to hear you got knocked out...of course, that's the usual. Enjoy the room and your time at their great property. I'll have to try out Mission BBQ in Deptford...I live 5 minutes away (an exit down Rt 55 from Deptford). As the saying goes: "You live in Joisey? I live in Joisey! What exit?"

I couldn't get a good night view shot cause of the outside light mostly from the golden nugget.

three and a half hours of "free" "entertainment" isn't too shabby in my book.

So at about 11:40 I hear someone trying to get in the door. I tell them through the door they have the wrong room. The tv resets and it says welcome and there is another name on the folio. I start to call the front desk and they call me on the other line and are confused, they said something about trying to straighten something out and was there luggage in the room. I said I have had this room since 2:30 or so and you gave someone else my room and keys to my room. She took my name and said a supervisor would "probably" call me back. Well my name Reset back on the tv but nobody ever called.

So i called and spoke with the manager. She said she tried to call me but it just rang, which is BS since I've been in the room waiting for a callback. So ends up she is giving me a $50 food comp that is good for 90 days. I had asked to waive the resort fee initially and she said that is one thing she can't do. Which seems crazy since they will give me $50 in food comp but not take off a $10 resort fee.

The moral of this story is always double lock your hotel door and use the latch as well. Now I have to get a new key tomorrow when I head down, she could have a bellman bring me a new key, but I just want to go to bed, since don't know how long that will take.
