    All,
Wifey and I booked a last-minute deal to Las Vegas and we're staying at the new Ultra Hip rooms at Planet Hollywood. What's the skinny on these rooms? I know they're the newest ones to be renovated, so does anyone have any experience staying in them? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

And, 1 think I like about them from what I've heard is they all have refrigerators in them. So I wouldn't have to keep requesting one every time.

It's a great lower-tier room. I'm spoiled by cosmo but the gf loved this room when we stayed. Clean, white, pretty modern furniture. We had the fountain view one and it was great. Definitely request for that.

My first stop before even checking in is Walgreens for some Pedialight, and Gateraid. Whenever I make my reservations with my host, I always ask for a fridge, but you always have to wait for them to deliver it. I want to get to drinking, and gambling dang it. :)

Anyone stay in these ultra hip rooms recently and have anything to add? I usually stay at Linq recently because I love the vibe of the casino and the area in general. However, I can get 5 nights comped in an Ultra Hip room at PH, so I'm seriously considering it.

I stayed in this room at the end of October and the room looked nice, strip view was great but the room wasn't very clean. The vents were covered in dust and bathroom floor wasn't very clean. I prefer staying at Ballys jubilee room and don't think I would stay here again.

Gonna add our light in the entry way is shorting (keeps going out or blinking) and the bathroom sink was backed up today. The bathroom is soooooooo dark it's crazy like really how are we supposed to put makeup on in there!!!

We were supposed to have had a fountain view room but with the rodeo in town and our room was fully comped they gave us a room without a strip view but I kinda liked the view so didn't go down and complain

What are the odds of getting bumped up to an Ultra Hip Room with a $20 sandwich? Is there enough inventory?

I stayed in the Ultra Hip over Xmas. Gotta say it was a very nice experience. I was in the North Tower, never had a problem with busy elevators, quiet, clean, good guest services, etc. The room is pretty spare, not much in the way of decor but it was a nice place to crash for 5 nights. Free fridge was great. Filled it with Gatorade and Sapporo! Lucked out and got the view, it was pretty mind-blowing. Many a morning spending time just looking out at the glory that is the center strip.[IMG] [IMG]

I would definitely take Planet Hollywood over Linq any day of the week
