I've read a few newspaper articles today about tonight's debate at UNLV. Hope it doesn't cause too much traffic jams in he area.

Just wondering if there were any reports as to where Hillary stayed Tuesday night. Was it on the strip? I think she stayed at Bellagio last time or some time in the past anyways. I assume Trump stayed at well, the Trump hotel.

I remember a LVRJ article about a special pizza delivery when Obama stayed in town. He stayed off strip and when the pizza order came in, the owner first said he didn't deliver but the caller said it'd be a good move to deliver this time. The article went on to describe the experience of bringing in a bunch of pizzas and going thru checkpoints first then having the pizza boxes x rayed in the hotel lobby. Snipers and everything on the surrounding buildings. Kinda funny but necessary what kind of security precautions there are.

Not getting into politics here but I had to laugh when I read about the wall of taco trucks outside of the trump hotel today. Lol.

Here's to a good show tonight.

I'm sure it will be on a television network, or twenty...

I'm just glad that VMB is a monarchy!

I got a tweet from Southwest Airlines about rebooking of flights for people who get caught-up in the mess. Word is the whole area's gonna be CRAZY... and not just inside the debate hall (Thomas and Mack).

Yup... our no politics rule is still steadfast. Discussion about the impact of the debate on the area, hotel rates, traffic, etc, is on topic, but any political commentary will make this thread go *poof*.

    Thanks.

If they're not going to debate on how to ban 6:5 BJ, I wish they would just keep the political stuff out of Vegas.

My bride has been joking all week (to her friends and mine) that I was probably a master debater back in high school.
Ha, ha, ha! (I do the fake chuckle every time!)

    The joke's on her:
Actually that was more of a college thing. My roommates would even come and watch!

This is the norm at main hotels, usually the hyatt on capital hill in DC.

There would always be snipers ontop of buildings and they would put up tents with sides covering everything going into all garages so no one would know which car would go where
