I have a feeling there will be a large KU presence. I went to Vegas a few years ago when they played at the Orleans arena in an early year tournament. Big crimson and blue crowd then. Go on the UNLV site for tickets, they're better prices on there.

Guys trip 12/8-12/11. Staying downtown. Serious knee injury in motorcycle accident has me wanting to stick DT most of the trip due to slightly limited walking ability.

Slight change of plans for our trip. We are still going Dec 10-14, but now our 22 year old great-niece is coming with us. She has not yet had her "Aunt S and Uncle R take me to Vegas" trip, so we invited her along.

Changed room from a Jubilee Strip View King to a Jubilee Strip View 2-Queens. We've already booked Terry Fator so I'm going to call the box office once she is 100% sure she can go (checking with work today) and see if we can trade our 2 seats together in 2nd row for 3 together further back (paying for 3rd ticket of course). If not, we will buy a single seat as close as we can find and my husband will sit alone and she will sit with me.

She's actually been to Vegas once before with a group of friends and understands this will be a different trip. We will take her for a nice meal, somewhere like Hyde or Mandarin Bar for overpriced cocktails, etc. More than anything I'm looking forward to spending time with her. We weren't as close to her part of husband's family so we mostly only saw her at holidays, graduations etc when she was growing up. She seems super excited so that is good!

Im hoping to do a TR. There is a decent chance that I may be too overwhelmed (or, honestly, too drunk) but I am going to try!

My last solo I considered a live TR, but even solo I don't have time for all of that typing. I just took pictures of everything (some of which were like clues from The Hangover) and reconstructed the trip after I got home.

Im hitting more than 20 casinos in 3 days. Strip only. I have a feeling a live TR will turn into a reconstructed TR after the fact, with pictures to lead the way.... Im gonna need the force, luck and and divine intervention to somehow do this.

Does seem a little unvacationy, but thats how I normally do first visits to any place. 2nd time in LV can then be spent at the spots I like most.

No, we aren't on the 6AM that day, we are taking the non stop that is closer to noon. We usually do take the 6 however. Are y'all staying on the strip?

Now niece isn't sure if she can go, she works at a department store as she's finishing up school, and they don't want to let her be off in Dec due to holiday crowds. Thankfully we haven't booked anything solid yet (flight, show). We will wait a bit to see if she's able to work something out or not before changing our room back to a King.

ETA - There are a lot of us staying at Bally's in December!
