Thank you, Wanker. I'm still smiling - never thought I'd get a dealt royal, much less three in one draw!

I don't think I have ever gotten a dealt RF even in practice hands. Royals yes, but not dealt.

xothan, you WILL get a 4oak eventually. And it will be the sweetest 4 sevens ever!! :D

Don't feel bad. I've never gotten a dealt royal or a five card redraw. I'm sure I've played close to a million hands of VP.

I'm still waiting on a dealt royal while playing 100 play. I'm getting closer because in March I was dealt 4 jacks and last month I was dealt 4 aces so a dealt royal should be next.

It's not even 2 dealt royal cycles. Lol

And I think aaisack mostly plays single line, so it being dealt to him doesn't matter much. I would rather it go to someone playing 10 or more lines like Kobra2848. If you're getting it dealt, make it count! Unlike my paltry $240 dealt royal...Bah

This might be a lottery type odds...I was playing a $5 Quick Hits machine at Aria and got 3 scattered Quick Hit symbols, which gave me the jackpot. After getting paid, my very next spin landed on the exact same hit and I won the jackpot again.

Many of you have seen the pic of my dealt royal. This happened early in my VP learning experience. Of course I got hooked immediately after that...lol

I'm intensely jealous of y'all that seem to get RFs so easily. :)

I can't believe the luck some people have! I've been going to Vegas for over thirty years, got one royal had to draw for it, got lots of hours on VP. Best I ever did was in Feb. got six of six on keno for $1,950
I was thrilled you guys keep up the good work!

    same here.
I went through too many royal cycles, hit many many royals, never a dealt one or a five card redraw.

I greatly enjoy playing VP and accordingly, I’ve enjoyed this thread a lot. The entries here which stick out in my mind are those relying upon textbook probability. It is less helpful when actually playing the high casino variance I have encountered. Yes, you can play 500,000 hands of VP without a royal so don’t count on seeing one every 40,000 hands or even ten times that. I write this based upon personal experience. The other post was the picture of a dealt royal playing five lines at $. This was a sequential which on a machine paying for one would have been a $250K hit! Has anyone ever seen a multi line sequential machine anywhere? I have not. In fact, as was noted earlier on this thread, there are VERY few sequential machines left anywhere.

Yes unfortunately, 10+ royal cycles is unlikely, but still possible.

As for multiline sequential. I've seen it once. And of all places, the high limit room at Horseshoe Hammond for 50k coins. Up to 10 lines up to $10 a coin. So dealt, that would be a cool five million dollars if anyone is rich enough to bet $500 a hand. Saw that once at Harrah's Joliet. 10 line ultimate x at the $5 level.

Meh, rather "unicorn hunt" for $70 a pull like @Riders . Would be plenty expensive for us. And better payback than the Sequential too. It's on Super Aces only. It used to be 8/5 (99.94%) without the sequential, but Horseshoe changed it 7/5 w/sequential (99.32%) because they can't dare offer really, really great VP anymore.

I am just amazed at all the dealt royals. I play my fair share and still have seem one .... Haven't seen dealt premium kicker hand all year let alone dealt 2-4 or aces.

I've been playing VP regularly (almost always single line DDB) for 5 years and I've gotten 11 Royals in that time, including one dealt Royal at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus OH right before waiting for my flight home earlier this year. I got 2 Royals on my last trip to Vegas last month (Bellagio & Orleans). 5 Royals this year and counting. Crazy luck.

I'm probably a statistical aberration and due for a market correction but I'm enjoying the run.

Last weekend, we visited our HR. I had a lucky day hitting a combination of things for $3500. I can’t complain except for one thing. I had just moved on to a machine and noticed right away that the machine was dropping the fifth card on the draws every other hand. I told myself, get off of this before something bad happens. Immediately after I moved down several seats, one of our VP acquaintances there sat down on that same machine. I didn’t see him as I would have warned him off. It’s good that I didn’t. He figured out how to avoid the card dropping. He was dealt a royal flush on his very first hand and didn’t need to hold anything.
