This was closed and all escalators were dismantled. Anyone know what they are doing to that bridge? Hopefully replacing the steel cage with glass!

They (the county) are supposed to fix all the bridges on the strip.

Seems like every time I'm in Vegas the one from Bally's to CP is being worked on.

Which one do you mean? There isn't a bridge from Ballys to CP (Ballys and CP both connect to Bellagio and Cromwell)

Well the one at Bally's that gets you by CP. You know what I mean. Only other one goes to the Cromwell.

I knew exactly which one you were talking about. They were working on it last December when I was there for four days. My wife and I were hoping each day it would be fixed, a joke between us. It seems most of them are never working when we are there.

Wife and I were at Harrah's in Kansas City yesterday, at the same time, we saw the non-working escalator and said "WE'RE IN VEGAS!" We got a good laugh out of it !

The one between Ballys and Crowell always seemed to be hit and miss as well. Most time it always seems to be the escalator that goes up that's out of use.

January we saw 4 (healthy) guys who rented scooters riding up and down the escalator stairs.. What a sight to see..

Does anyone know when the bridges on that intersection will be finished? We're thinking of staying at the Tropicana next summer but will give it a miss if the bridge between the Tropicana and MGM is closed.

    About {expletive} time!

Last few trips the UP escalators were inoperative (I was about to say they were "down") :) most of the time!
