I love the Swami. He's usually always wrong so I'm happy when he picks my team's opponent to win.

I thought he does? I haven't watched the two minute drill this year, but in past years he has picked based on the spread. Did that change?

I believe he predicts the exact score which is a roundabout way of picking the spread without saying so

Actually yeah I think you are right. I might follow his track.. I pleased the vikings to minus 12.5 and plus 320 against the giants.. that was a lucky big win there!!

He is a huge square. He will be under .500 as he always seems to be, by the end of the year.

I'm 42-20 through the first 4 weeks on the ESPN pick 'em. Every game against the spread. I know picking 67% correct won't last, but it's just a free contest that awards Amazon gift cards to weekly winner so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts!

this forum used to do a weekly pickem.. I wish we still had one going! last year i finished just a few games plus or minus 500 lol. funny how it all evens out and the juice always wins in the long run!

    Dallas 23-20 vs Cincinnati
    Houston 17-20 vs Vikings
    Philadelphia 23-17 vs Detroit
    Tennessee 20-19 vs Miami
    Buffalo 19-18 vs Rams

My point....his picks are highlighted (this year in red) and sometimes (as in Houston above) picks the dog to cover. If he picks the dog to win it is still highlighted but not so obvious.

My observations at least as to whether picking straight up or against the spread.

I guess that just depends on how risk tolerant you are and your faith in Berman.

Im just going to stick with the spread.

As some have pointed out in years past he has been a bit of a hamburger when it comes to picking games........ but, nothing wrong with riding a hot capper while it lasts.
