Heading out tomorrow. My last night in Vegas is a free myVegas night at the Mirage. Just scoping out my coffee choices for the early a.m. Disgustingly, as I am up so early in MN, it is hard to stay in bed past 3:30 or 4:00 a.m. in Vegas. I have stayed at the Mirage before and it used to be that the Carnegie Deli's take out was open then. Now I'm not seeing that. Nor am I seeing anything else that is open 24 hours or open that early.

Any help, short of ordering room service, or heading to a VP bar and hoping?

I have the same problem as you when I am in Vegas and can not sleep past 4:30 a.m. We always stay at the Mirage and I couldn't find coffee at that hour, So now I just walk across the street to McDonalds to get my fix. It also gives me a chance to watch the walk of shame people as they head back to their rooms or wherever after they have had a long night.
Have a great time in Vegas.

The McDonalds across the street is your best bet. Better price too!

I have struggled with this as well. It is kind of extreme but the last few months when traveling I have brought with me a hot plate and a french press. I make my own now. Its not as big of a deal as it seems. I picked up travel sizes on Amazon and only have like $30 in the kit. Two weeks ago in Jamaica it was a savior, coffee at 5 am there is not happening.

It's only for one night. The majority of my stay is at the Cosmo - with a full kitchen. I have found a new instant (Starbucks via Instant - Columbia) that is pretty decent so if the room has a microwave - I'm good.

I admit it - not real warm and fuzzy about heading out solo that early in the morning - so looks like room service it is.

Thanks everyone! Nice to know I'm not alone in my addiction.

I tried some instant in Jamaica and it wasn't bad either. I may give it a go as well, thanks for the tip!

The Pantry should be open 24 hours. At least I know we've had a few drunken meals there about 3-4am before.

Cool. I bet I could belly up to the bar and get a cup of coffee to go in there. Wow is my "free" property map software old. the Pantry doesn't even show up on there. Thanks much!

Yes, thanks. I think that will do it. That wasn't there last time I was there.

The Starbucks in the Treasure Island "annex" (i.e. right on the strip) is open 24 hours.

Yep, The Pantry is open 24/7 - besides coffee, if your hunger button goes off the pancakes are delish or for ten bucks you can choose 3 baked items like bagel, muffin, croissant, etc - always end up taking most of it back to the room for a snack later.

Or, watch for a CW and park yourself at a machine - my husband swears the coffee is really good and they bring it piping hot.

Hi Josie, I am surprised that you need to use MyVegas to get a free night.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying anything bad to MyVegas.
I just thought with your level of play you can stay at any Mlife property and be fully comped as long as you wish.

What got me even more addicted to my coffee these days is that I add heavy whipping cream into my coffee instead of half and half or milk. Yeah, the kind you use for cooking.
I ran out of my usual coffee creamer and saw the pint carton of whipping cream I had leftover from a previous cooking and poured a tablespoon into my coffee and sugar ...

It is absolutely delicious and rich and creamy more so than any coffee I had in my life.

    Anyone knew this?

Yeah I know it is heavy whipping cream. It is bad real bad. But boy it makes your coffee RICH AND CREAAMMY

This is a very popular thing to do in low-carb diets. All fat, no carbs, keeps you full!

Walk up to any bar in the Mirage drop a 20 intothe video poker machine and ask for a coffee. Give the bartender a dollar tip when he brings it. Play a bit then cash out.
