All would work well, no bad choices. I thinking Cosmo just a little more hip with elegance. BUT Mirage and Venetian are closer to the cheaper CET properties where the younger cheaper crowd hangs mid strip.

For a 21st birthday, it has to be the Cosmo. Young, fun vibe and a location right in the middle of things.

I like all three, but for 21 year olds celebrating I'd recommend in this order:
    1) Cosmo - bar bling, hip crowd, center strip (suites have two bathrooms - we all know how long it takes to glam up)!
    2) Venetian - classic, roomy, lots of good restaurants, young crowds prevalent late at night, especially weekends,
    3) Mirage - great pool

(Disclaimer - ok, I'm old, but observant)

They will have an awesome experience whichever you choose!
BTW @Disney Fan - Perfect transition from Disney to Vegas :wink2:

If you want to spend the money, Cosmo all the way. The young crowd dresses to impress there.

Geogran is very observant. Fully agree.

My vote would also be cosmo. Posh, elegant, but also fun and young-friendly.

The Venetian is spectacular, and I definitely recommend having them walk through it, but Cosmo would be my top vote for a 21 year old. Geogran nailed it on Mirage's pool though, it's one of the prettiest.

P.S. I would price-check. Cosmo has been super busy lately and we were shocked that, on our last trip, a one bedroom terrace was listed at $500 - over $800. (Not that you'll pick a one bedroom, but still.) Some week nights can be in the $200 range, so timing could definitely be a factor in affordability.

If you're footing the bill, Mirage will almost definitely give you drastically better prices, if that is something you're looking at. It has a gorgeous atrium and is right across from V/P. I would have been tickled to stay at Mirage on my 21st...all the options are great! If the money works though, Cosmo is my top pick as well.

I was in Las Vegas two weeks ago with my adult son and we had a two-bedroom Tower Suite at the Mirage. This room could be perfect for you and your daughter (and friends). It was a huge suite with a master bedroom and bath and a second bedroom with two queens and another bathroom. There was a living room, bar area and dining area. I paid $226 a night for that room, which was a real bargain, You might want to take a look at this room for your dates. We enjoyed staying at the Mirage. It is in a great location on the Strip.

    Have fun!

I agree w above. If you're with a group check rates on two bedroom tower or hospitality suite at Mirage. My three best friends and I did this five years ago and was an amazing experience in a great room.

Even if going for standard rooms, I love the Mirage. I have stayed Venetian, Palazzo, Bellagio, and Delano to name a few and Mirage had become my go to spot lately. For my split trip in a week spending first two nights there.

Venetian is great because of how large the standard room are, but for 21 year olds may not be the right crowd for them.

Cosmo i am finally trying next week, but seems to cater to that younger crowd.

    Cosmo, fountain view.

Easy pick. Don't even think about it.

Need more info. Your profiles shows 28 visits to Vegas. Guessing you have some comps at some casinos? Where do you like?

Next - two rooms I assume... but do not want to assume. How many people?

Finally - a 21 year old in Vegas will be thrilled with even a dumpy room. Vegas will over take anything about the room. Really.

It will be two rooms for sure, there will be a total of 6 to 7, we are low rollers so not much in the way of comps, the number of trips is incorrect, way more than 28 as Iv'e been going out there since I was 21 and now I'm 59 and go almost every year.

Since you are a Vegas regular with some 40 trips, you know the hotels well and parts of town well. I would lean towards less expensive and get more rooms myself. Sharing a room is a drag, even with my wife since we have different sleep schedules. If the girls can have their own room vs sharing they will be more thrilled with that then a fancy/expensive room. Of course, a fancy hotel is great - but this is Vegas - they will be happy with just about anything. Save the fancier for a followup visit.

As always, checking the rate calendars for your dates may dictate your choices. Rooms can be $59 one day and $600 the next if big events of conferences are in town. I would lean towards less expensive like Flamingo, Linq, Harrahs, Paris. NYNY maybe.
