Poll on what your average daily bank roll is per trip? If you're out for 4 days, divide your total number by 4, out for 5, divide by 5, etc.

I usually go for 5 nights, and take 1500-2000 cash with me. However, I only risk 500 of it. My latest allocation is roughly: 20% slots, 30% VP, 35% craps and 15% blackjack.

Since I mostly utilize coupon books, promos, match plays, free plays etc, 500 ends up being more than enough (I mostly have a slightly up trip or a very narrow loss). My results so far in my 11 trips ranged between -$300 and +$300, with average being -$60.

Why I take the additional 1K+ cash with me? Mainly for potential opportunities. Say there is a great EV+ promo on $25 blackjack, then I would be jumping on it and risking that remaining budget. Or a 500 entry slot tournament that is EV+ etc.

This is gonna be très interesting as the votes come in. I think of myself as a micro-roller (pico-roller? femto-roller?) but as of now I'm at the peak of the bell curve.

First, I'm a degenerate gambler. When I go to Vegas I go for the sole purpose of gambling and playing the different casinos. I don't eat a fancy restaurants or go to shows. I gamble. I take $1k per day to gamble with and going in I fully expect to lose every penny of it.

Soft loss limit of $600/night, aggregated as the trip goes on. So end of night 1, I don't want to be worse than -$600, end of night 2, I don't want to be worse than -$1,200, etc.

It depends!, I generally like to start off a bit slow at the start of my trip. Having a big loss on the first night can really take the fun out of my vacation, so I usually only risk $200-$300, the first night, then around that the second. And for the last two nights really go for the big win $1K + :)

$500/day for me unless I'm there for a reason other than gambling. My last trip was 1k a day and the trip before that $2500 a day. I'll never do that again unless i hit the lotto or megabucks, whichever comes first.

I go for almost 3 weeks, therefore I won't play every day, cause my bankroll wouldn't survive the first week I'm afraid.

But if I average my bankroll over 20 days, I would still have $100 per day. Which I would be ok with, I would just lower my denomination and only play VP and slots in that case.

What I plan to do though is, I will divide it in 8 portions of $250 and can use my wins on the other days. I don't count on bringing anything home, except when I hit something over $250, then I will set it aside and consider it a profit.

To be very honest I love going to vegas but dont have a gambling budget as i do so little of it.

I am there for the drinking. i play penny slots 9 lines 1 cent per line. Thats about it.

I might put a $100 in the machine but thats really just its because I have one in my pocket, no way i would ever gamble it all the way down. nothing is worse then playing it down to zero. They want you to do that so you will feel terrible and fight to get it back.

I do invest more money in tips to the cw then just about any other expense.

This is me as well. Next trip I'm going for a convention, so I won't gamble as much, so each session might be higher next time. Or, go my normal amount, and maybe come home with some.....nahhhh

Per person or total for trip if your a couple? I checked $1K but that's for both of us. We usually stay 6 nights and take $6500 for both of us. The first day we don't get into Vegas until 5 or 6pm and the last day we're on our way to the airport by noon so we're actually there 5 full days and 2 partial days. I play higher denominations than my wife and I gamble every morning and have coffee while she sleeps in so we're probably $700/$300 (me/her)/day. We adjust as we go though. Like this last trip, she won $2K the first night and I was up $100+ so that early in the trip, what we do is keep that $2K in the safe and the next day the $6500 is still the gambling budget. for the rest of the trip. I will say if I piss thru $1000 in a day, I figure it's time to quit for the day and we go chill and have a drink and dinner. We ended up pretty substantially the last night of the trip so we took $1K down to play with the next morning, plus we had "point play" to use that last day. It kind of gets blurred if we're winning but I will was that we are good about keeping a large chunk of it in a separate "don't touch" stack in the safe when are. There's the "take home" stack and the "play" stack. I love it when the play stack is still like $4K on the last night....

We take 1000 a day for the two of us (I checked 501-700), with a split of about $600 for me and $400 for DH. DH will stop gambling if he's losing it quick, as he doesn't find it fun and we are there for fun. Me, on the other hand, am there to gamble and I enjoy playing the games win or lose; I find slots entertaining. We aren't there to make money, if we were we would keep the money in the bank and not play slots.

Yikes! After reading all that I am not sure someone is not going to die laughing at me but....my budget is between 80 and 100 a day. Usually I win a little during the days and at the end of several days vacation I manage not to go home broke.

Where does a EV+ slot tournament exist? You mean a freeroll for freeplay?

Last trip I went with gas money. Took a chunk of my lines out at diff properties lost a bunch the first night and then caught a decent $100 WoF spin quick to get back even. Checked out early and drove back that morning. Figured that was enough til next time (offer)...

We usually stay 5 nights. My wife and I play on my card. We budget $2,000 per day, we play slots only. There are days when go thru the entire amount and there are days when we only go through a fraction. It all depends on how the slots gods are shinning down on us.
