Last day of my bday trip and hit Mlife platinum thanks to a 5 AM power session the other night ;)

I'm at like 200k tier points, also will be back in two weeks for a work convention where I'll be putting 2 rooms and food/bev on my acct via corporate card ... (At MGM usually at Mirage where I'm at now)

Sooooooo question: should I seek out a host? Expect one? Anything crazy I should expect out of platinum level for Mlife?

Gold really didn't do anything for me even tho I was only gold for a short time.

Should I wait until end of next trip even though I'll be at a different casino than my home base mirage?

Thanks all! I'll rely on the pros here :)

If it was me, and the company was paying the bill, I'd save any comps for another trip and just make sure my player's card was linked to the room to get the points from the hotel spend. That way, you will have more to use on a personal trip later on.

As for a host, it depends on what levels and games you play at than what level of card you have. With that info, I think the board can answer those questions better for you.

I went from barely Gold to almost Platinum in about 7 hours or so..? (10 PM to 5 AM)

Think I only needed 2000 points which I already hit since

This was Saturday night. I would say my average play was between 50-100 sprinkling in higher when up and a few lower (25) here and there

Craps, blackjack roulette hopped around a little and did a few high limit slots in there too

Probably not super helpful, sorry. F

Host interest would spike more depending on the amount of roulette and slots action (and hours of action) I imagine - given the house edge.

Gold or Plat - pretty much the same thing. Just for hitting Plat will not get anyone at Mlife excited. Everything is based on play, not tier.

It's all about average bet and time at table. None of the companies really care about tier level. Yes you get certain bonuses/perks at higher tier but not improved offers.
