:::☆LIVE☆::: 96 hrs of Hot Las Vegas action!

Welcome!

As a newbie on the VMB website this will be my first trip report! I really enjoy reading other people's TR's so much so that it has motivated me to do a :Live: one for our trip. Tonight was fun, we watched UFC 203 live at work, food was provided by the H.O. and im 1-1 on my bets, up 40$ ill take it... (my co worker left for vegas on friday and posted bets for the whole crew on our shift) In approximately 4 hours or so I get to go home from work! It's been a rough 48 hours with maybe 4hrs of sleep total. My back is killing me, and these boots are heavy on the feet.. The day or 2 leading up to my vegas trip is usually sleepless. I have a ton of stuff to do before we take off to the airport...So a few hours rest will definitely be on the to do list.

Anyhow, since I'm wide awake right now living the dream let's cut right to it!
This will be the first time in 8 years were flying to Vegas. We always rent a car and drive, but this time I wanted a change of scenery. My fiance and soon to be in laws will be coming with us this time.

My first time in vegas was with the same group of people, I was 20 years old, and gambling with soon to be dad @ the now long and forgotten and soon to be closing "New Frontier". Never got carded, they just didn't care..I got hooked! Fast forward 10 years and here we are again! I little older, but same good times.

We really don't have a plan laid out where we're gonna do, and what we're going to see, and where we're going to eat. We (MV and myself) don't like to plan anything when we go to Vegas. We love to wing it! We make plans on the fly. Wherever were at in the moment anything goes! I never set anything in stone but I do have a few ideas of what each 24hr period might entail. Whatever we feel like doing or going it's pretty much gonna happen

Mom and Dad are just happy to come along and spend some time with us and the casinos. They also insist that we go ahead and make all the arrangements! (And of course they love the suspense of something new and exciting- they are the best!) we will more then likely part ways for most of the trip minus meal times and a few other things.

If everything shapes up to be what it is, there will be a ton of pictures and constant updates. I did pretty good on my costco steak thread and I was very intoxicated while doing so, I pretty much drank every beer in the house. That was a good warm up. I am not making any guarantees most of the time there will be spent under the influence.I'm gonna do my best to pull through. It is Vegas afterall.

So far the only for sure thing is were flying southwest, renting a vehicle, and staying @ Ballys. I'm shooting for an upgrade to a suite and I really don't care if I pay for it. I need that jacuzzi tub! I will try the $20 trick and some for you guys, no shame in my game! If it doesn't work I'll see if the clerk can hook me up with a good deal.

***please forgive me ahead of time if I start posting random crazy drunk pictures, might even upload a few youtube videos and link them here. Everything will abide by the VMB board rules?** I've seen some shit before in vegas where I wish " if only I had my camera out for that one" I'll be sure to this time! When gamblor and wino join forces and take over my brain theres no telling what will happen!***...and just in case if you read beer belt post in the frugal section .. unfortunately
that will be staying home this time. I heard they still give out free booze in vegas

Any special requests from the VMB family can be posted here and I'll try my hardest to snap a picture of it or provide info, I hope to keep it entertaining to say the least.

Woke up about 2 hours ago, eyes burning from the sunlight. All packed up on our way to the airport. I'm hungry! I had brought food with me but the lady standing on the freeway on ramp looked more hungry then me...shes enjoying it now!

I boned myself! I got through TSA in like 4 min. That's a complete shock to me @LAX on a Sunday. Nothing here to see except absurdly priced merchandise and tourists so early. At least I ate I'm happy now. [emoji14]

Beautiful pics of LAS in the sunshine! I'm usually flying in or out at about midnight and I like the lights, but it's pretty in the daylight, too!

Things changed a little. My dad's sister is on the plane with him..totally didn't know that...LOL! time to change rental cars and add another room....
Otherwise she's staying with them in there room!

 

Just in case if anyone is wants an air shot of Red Rock from the air...it was quite small from up there!
