Looking towards booking an Easter Sunday arrival into Vegas and was curious what the day is like during the holiday.

This is a long ways away but it gives plenty of time to get things in order. My sons spring break is April 17th for the week, she he will be at Grandmas. I will fly out the morning (hopefully) of easter and stay until hopefully the following Sunday.

I have read reports around christmas and thanksgiving, nothing around easter, or maybe I ignored those, I do not recall.

I hate to say this, but I think Easter goes pretty much unnoticed. I'm just assuming. If they dress up a hot chick in an abbreviated costume, with fishnets and heels, handing out alcoholic painted eggs, then maybe it would be cool.

If your speaking about the religious part, I personally would stay at home.

The only thing different is they add 2 or 3 items to a buffet and charge an extra $15-$20 for Easter Brunch. It might as well not exist other than a change in food.

Easter doesn't really move the Vegas needle. I was there on Easter in 2015 and it was busy but that was more due to the Final Four being the same weekend

I've been there a few Easters and the locals come out to the buffets big time. We would walk down the Paris/Bally's walkway on our way to the Sterling Brunch ( for which we had made reservations a month or two out) and see the line for the Paris buffet curl a long ,long way down the walkway. We have seen similar at the Bellagio buffet----the line would be down to the hallway near the elevators.

I've been there a few times over Easter and really it's just another day except for maybe a jacked-up price for a "Special Easter Brunch" and the like. There's no big Easter Parade or anything like that, that I know of, anyway.

Thanks for the comments. Those actually were the answers I was expecting but was not sure if there was anything more to except.

I have tentative plans to be in LV next Easter. I'll be eating dinner with my family who lives there.

We flew in to Vegas on Easter Sunday 2015. We got off the plane and there was nothing different than any other trip. Easter was non existent from what we could see.

The Sterling Brunch had tons of chocolate bunnies and eggs---some quite large. We took one home and were supplied with a shopping bag to take him on the plane. He made it all the way across the country and when we opened him up, he was filled with Jelly Belly candies and Hershey miniatures.

Was there this past Easter, the only thing we noticed was Fashion Show Mall was closed, other than that, everything else was just like a normal day in Vegas.

On one of my first visits in the 1990's, we were walking past the Riviera on Easter Sunday and an Elvis impersonator, dressed in a white jumpsuit was singing. It seemed so odd to me at the time.
