Im a diamond at CET and my dad is a 7 star -- we always get comp rooms usually show any 5 day period at any casino as being comped. But I am curious what the minimum daily play would be to get comp rooms on the reservation calendar? My gf doesnt have any status one way or the other and usally just plays a little on my card but I am thinking about starting to put some play onto her card so we can get extra rooms or rooms for nights when I might not gamble and dont want to ruin my rating but dont care about ruining hers. I know its probaly based on theo but to make it easy in terms of tier credits Id like to know if I need to earn 100, 300, 500, 1000 or whatever amount per day on her card for her to show comp room offers?

If CET systems thinks you are on property - it will impact your theo, even is you play $0.

If you might go to Vegas for a few days and NEVER, EVER use your card, getting her on their radar might get you some rooms. On the other hand, if you have zero problem getting 5 days, you should just stick with yours.

This is the first time in years I have not earned Platinum 5,000 tier. I have only 990 tier credits for the year. I am still getting 3-5 comped weekdays on off times at many of the hotels ( not the premium like Cromwell but occasionally Caesars). I do have the TR Credit Card (so I will keep my platinum) and I have been a customer for over 30 years. I am not sure that counts for much. I understand that the new customers get better offers they want to lure them in.

I am no expert, but if you are still getting offers with only 990 tier credits for the year - just say "Thank you".

I would say a daily average of 1000TC

I typically earn a little over 1,000 TCs a day not including bonus TCs, and I get up to 5 comped nights and $200 in Free Play. On some online offers where I get three comped nights, I call my host who adds any extra nights I might want. He also upgrades my room from what the online offer gives.

ADT and past play really determines what the booking engine will give you. No one knows the exact formula but typically past 3 trips averages and yearly by market drive
your marketing offers. I assume you are interested in the Las Vegas market for free rooms. I have seen steady play at the 300 TC level get consistent free weekday offers Sun - Thurs for base rooms at all properties (minus Caesars / Cromwell). Busy weekends unless on an offer are discount rates.

Bump up to 500 TR level and you will typically see weekend offers open up at same properties. Anything over 1000 TC per trip should unlock free rooms at all properties.
Contrary to what people may think, just getting diamond status alone is meaningless for offers if you do not have a consistent ADT per trip. I know low level diamonds who
are getting only room discount offers due to low play frequent trips to the local casino dragging their ADT down.

I also know people who go to Vegas once a year and hit it hard, 10K coin in a day getting ridiculous offers of rooms and FP.

It depends on which CET hotel you want to be able to stay at, but I think Funkhouser is close to the mark.

If you translate 1 TC from gaming to roughly 50 cents in theo, then 300 TCs a night ($1,500 coin in on slots) could be enough to get a room at the bottom half. I end up averaging about $4,000 coin in a night (800 TCs) over my CET stays and I can get up to Palace Tower rooms at Caesars comped any night of the week (except New Years and the C.E.S.)

Just be aware that if you do this, you cannot use you card at all. For anything. No Diamond lounge, no free show tickets, not even to just check your points.

On your next trip, just pick one day only and use her card instead of using it over a 3 day trip. I think if you can get 500 TC that day she'll start getting comped night's on the CET rate calender. As others said a card swipe or usage will trigger her a gambling day so keep it in your suitcase except the day you use it.

I had 7 days a week on 300-400 per day. Not at Caesars or PH but at Harrahs, IP (at that time), Flamingo, Ballys. Paris most of the time but some exceptions. Now at higher daily (600 most days - some 1000) I am pretty clear at everything but Caesars.

I've been diamond for years and I believe this is the most accurate information posted that answers your question.

This is a pretty accurate statement, but also depends on what room type you want

I've had 1000+ TC per day for the past few trips and I still can't get weekends anywhere. I usually don't have a problem midweek at most properties but I very rarely can get Caesars. I also don't have a host so this is purely on offers/the TR calendar. Half the time when I try to book some offer (usually some combo of 3 free nights and between $25-50 in food or some giveaway) I get the offer isn't available.

Does it matter what type of TC you get? Meaning table games vs slots vs poker? Or is Tier Credits the same no matter how you accumulated them?

Sorry kind of unclear. So if I wanted comped rooms, does it matter how I accumulated the Tier Credit? So does 500 TC from slots the same as 500 TC from table games?

TCs from gaming should be pretty much all be equal to each other, somebody who plays more VP than me can say what the TC-to-theo ratio is at CET.

A few years ago, a few of us reverse calculated TCs from table games at MLife and found they were given at pretty much the same ratio-to-theo as slots.

TCs from hotel spend don't count.
