Just booked a designer suite for mid-December for $32/night incl. tax and fees. Seems like a great value!

Any tips on which suite to request?
Any good/bad experiences or tips regarding the suites?

    Thanks!

Me too. I booked the Designer for later that month. I wanted a reasonable place with no obligation to gamble. The rooms look amazing , just not to sure about location.

Stayed at the producer suite in February and enjoyed it. Big fan of the El Cortez. Location wise it's at the far East side of downtown with my other favourite casino the MSS at the far northwest corner I often have to remind myself that it's less travel than the Wynn to the Venetian.

That is an outstanding deal! Rack rate is typically five times that. Those rooms are high on my list of places I haven't stayed yet.. Be sure to write a trip report.

How did you get such a great rate?

I went to their website, plugged in my dates, and that's the price that came up. It was $23 (plus $12 for taxes/fees) for all the rooms, actually. Maybe it's a glitch, but I made the reservation with a deposit on my credit card, and the emailed confirmation had the same rate.

I originally posted that the rate was $32...it's actually $35 and change.

That's a great rate. But don't forget the "resort fee" that'll be charged when you check out. :p

$35 includes the $10.02 "amenity fee"...

Really! Wow! I've been charged more for the Tower Room including the amenity fee!

Not sure what the amenity fee is for as I paid this when I stayed last year but was still billed for using the internet(daily).
I was in too much of a hurry to catch my flight so didn't query it at the time but would be handy to find out what it entails.

Is there a list of all the non-busy times in Vegas so we can predict when the lowest rates will be? That would be very helpful actually.

I got in on this deal on Tuesday. Booked a couple Designer Suites for mid December for $35 a night including resort fee and tax. Looking last night, however, I noticed that the Designer Suites were no longer offered at this rate (all rooms were $23/night throughout property). I think they found their mistake and stopped anyone else from booking!

What do they normally go for (from Sun - Thur in a slow month like December)?
