    A lot of funny left the planet with the passing of Mr. Wilder.
    We recently lost my mother-in-law to AD and I've seen firsthand how it can take a lot away, but it can't take the good memories we have of them!
    Time to pop in Blazing Saddles tonight!

    My faves: Stir Crazy and Silver Streak. It's always sad to see the great ones leave us.

    :nworthy::nworthy::nworthy:

    Edit: After reading the ageless one's post (only LOST fans will get this) I completely forgot about Blazing Saddles which, IMHO, is one of the top three comedies of all time.

    Too many talented and gifted comedian/actors leaving us too soon. RIP.

    A truly talented man! I really can't decide. Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Willy Wonka.

    The monster and his fiance in the woods. She is protesting, then says."Oh my God, what a......(made up German sounding word)! Then she starts singing in an opera style, First time I saw that scene, I laughed so hard, I hurt.

    Young Frankenstein is comedy gold. My son and I watched Wonka together countless times. He's in college now, we watched it last night for the first time in years. Still entertaining.

    All his stuff was at least good and most great! Rest in Peace.

    I heard a Willy Wonka quote on the radio this morning and it made me chuckle.

    WW: "Remember what they said about the man who got everything he wanted."
    Kid: "What?"
    WW: "He lived happily ever after."

    He was 83, so I'm like well, OK. Sad but OK. Then I read he had dementia and I cried. Ugly way to go. You can't find any stories out there about him being a turd either. Lovely dear man.

    No matter how many times I watch the movie I always crack up even though I know what's coming next. The whole cast was just nuts......:kill:

    Oh I know, I don't say Frankenstein, I say Fronkonsteen! Some people crack up immediately because they know and others are like what are you even saying?
