General order of preference on here tends to be Augustus then Octavius.

Those are the two most luxurious basic rooms and Augustus tends to be closer to the strip and have better views.

Palace is still a quite nice room, with potentially a view of the pool

The plus side for the Julius rooms is that they are newly completely redone. But they will also be the smallest of the rooms, since they are a renovation of the old Roman tower.

Augustus every time. Closest to 7 star valet and exit, closest to diamond lounge, closest to main hotel lobby, best view (of the fountain). I have stayed in every tower and this is my 1st choice now every time.

I just had the same problem. The Julius, Palace, Octavius, and Augustus were all available to me as comp and I never stayed there. I chose August. I'm surprised more people prefer Augustus over Octavius with the latter being newer. But it seems you can't beat the location of the Augustus Tower.

I voted Augustus, which was one of the best hotel rooms I can remember, ever.

Most of my Caesars' says have been and August an have nod out you will enjoy it. Hopefully you can get a Bellagio fountain room. Look for an even number room. Odd numbered from are strip view. They aren't bad either, but for first time at caesars the Bellagio fountain room is more impressive. The close proximity to the exits is a plus. The rooms are 640 sq. ft. which for a non suite room is great.

palace is pretty dated and basic now but still nicer than many other hotel rooms
julius tower is newly outfitted but the tower itself is old so the layout and size are whatever. even the windows are small
    unlike the newer towers

octavius rooms are not any better than augustus tower's
so no need for the extra walk
choose Augustus and do not second guess your choice
