We will be heading to the Flamingo the middle of September and I have a couple of questions about the pool. First, where will we find the best shade for the day? Second, are people lining up to get in long before it opens at 9 am? Thank you!
There are some shaded spots. When the weather is hot, like now, those spots fill up quickly . When we stayed at Flamingo a few weeks ago there was a line for the Go pool when it opened at 9. Not sure how early people lined up. It doesn't move real fast as they check all bags and purses. The family pool didn't have a line. This was on a couple of weekdays.
Sorry, what is the diff between the Go pool and family pool? Also, which pool would you recommend for finding the best shade? Thanks!
The family pool is just that, a family pool. It's laid back and geared more for families with children and for those not needing a party atmosphere. the Go pool is the party pool with DJ/loud dance music, alcohol and a party crowd. It's described on the website.
There was no DJ during the week when I was there in June. At least not in the morning. But there was still music of course.
They have resident DJs that start around 2pm https://www.caesars.com/flamingo-las-vegas/things-to-do/go-pool#.V74hajXCeSo Weekends - either a resident DJ, or special DJ (where they charge all entrants, including hotel guests)
