Hello, has anyone done the VIP at Mirage sports book. We are planning to do it for Saturday Sept 10, college football. It says come and go all day, what is considered all day. I know we'll be there from 9-3 but could we come back at 7:30 for more drinks. Any details or reviews would be greatly appreciated, I'm trying to see if it is truly worth $160.

Yes, they give you a colored wristband
You can come and go as you please
    Unlimited drinks.

If you have a casino host
He can comp it for you
    That's what I do.
And its well worth it if you are going to have more than 10 drinks.
I had 17 vodka cranberries and 4 margaritas
    in a 10 hour day
9 am college football saturday thru around 8 pm taht night.

Is this in a special area, or is it just reserved seating at the book?

    click the link
    you see the couches
    thats the VIP section
the other section is a free for all
very hard to get a seat on a football saturday or sunday
It can be done with drink tickets but the VIP area is much more comfortable and you dont have to get to the book 2 or 3 hours before a game to catch a seat

I'd say it is worth it. I stayed at Mirage last year for the opening weekend of football and you could not find a seat at all in the sportsbook or the bar just outside all weekend. We were debating doing the VIP seats as well but never pulled the trigger. Big mistake.
Think about it, even if you do find a seat at a bar you are likely gonna spend more on drinks or video poker than you would for the VIP seats

This sounds pretty legit, where else does everyone like to watch the games? I'll be in town same weekend. Usually end up reserving table at Lagasses or going to the Pub but wanna switch it up
