Best way to get my tickets ahead of time...

Hi all,

Trying to figure out the best way to get Elton John tickets. We fly in at 6pm at the show starts at 7:30. We are going to try to do a same day stand by for an earlier flight but lets assume worse case scenario and I don't get on that flight. I just called Total Rewards and they can book my tickets and charge to my room saving me about $50 in fees BUT they can't book the actual seats. Only the ticket price- like I can say I want rear orchestra but they assign the seats at the box office so I could end up with sections 1 or 6 when I really want section 5.

Or, I book online directly and pay the $50 in fees and get my actual seats but how do I get my tickets? Can they email me something? or mail them? or do I have to pick them up at will call (which I do not want to have to do because of the short window of timeI have).

Did Total Rewards tell me correctly? I seriously can't select the seats from them over the phone?

Anyones have any thoughts or past experience? We have gone to see Shania Twain and we bought tickets at that discounted ticket place but then we had to walk over to box office to pick them up. We don't have the luxury of time nor do I want to wait to get tickets that day- they won't be good ones! Thank you!

 

what happens if you planes late and u miss the show your out 400$ . just get the tickerts when you land. elton isnt at the discout place ever. if u want excat seats go to box office on line and get e tickets so there emailed to u . u will pick your excat seats . your all set.

Thanks for the scolding. I'm asking if there is a way to use my total reward points to purchase the tickets for actual seats prior to my arrival. Hoping someone else can give me advice.

 

didnt see u want too use points only sorry you taked about saving money and booking thru tr but not about points.. i guess charge to room and pay when checking out , unless u go to tr desk and they can give u a voucher wich i dont think they can.. i think only they or host can do it if i rember correctly .

 

Please do not consider this scolding, but if you buy them in advance, I can almost guarentee your flight will be delayed a few hours. It is sure thing.

a few things too ease your mind. first, the casino will kick back the best seats to the box office about a half hour before the concert starts, second install the stubb hub app on your phone. u might get better seats cheaper there .they will be e -tickets so u can print them out at your hotel. also check whats available right before u leave,u can gauge if it will sell out that way. also if you actualy get an earlier flight once u get on the plane u can always can always book then.if that eases ur mind.

ps not know when your going as long as it not a major holiday or a big convention u should be fine but just keep looking too see what the unsold seats look like
