right across the street from Bally's sportsbook entrance. It's a dive. Worse than Ellis Island.

And it's not a casino. Just a smoke filled bar with lots of characters and some video poker machines. At about a 1:1 ratio.

Can be a lot of fun if you're in the right mood.

Hee Hee you must be too classy for the gold coast shuttle. It's across the street from the Gold Coast & Rio shuttle buses. Last I checked, the shuttles were on Flamingo, exit doors right around the Le Thai & Indigo Lounge area in Ballys. Big lettering, single story building.

Ladies getaway, somewhere on the strip with a pool :)

Take the escalator down to the sports book. Walk out the doors to the left and look 7.5 degrees to the right (across flamingo rd).

Of course. Go to the farthest side exit of Ballys which is down the casino escalator, passed the shop, and exit by the food court. Probably a 3 min walk if that.

I have often stopped in the store in the back to pick up some liquor. Have never felt unsafe there.

It's not that dangerous. There is a crosswalk and a light and a there are usually a few homeless folks in the area so you won't be alone.

It's hard to believe this gem of a dive bar exist among the palatial casinos. The clientele is a mix of locals and low rollers, cheap drinks with adjacent liquor store. As others have mentioned, it's an easy and safe walk from Ballys.

Gold Coast/Orleans shuttles dropped off and picked up by the High Roller in May. Rio shuttle is still where you mentioned.

Out the door from Bally's sports book. I have been to stage door over 100 times in all my years going to Vegas & never had any kind of issues or even seen an issue of safety. For some reason the seedy characters never bother anyone and if you do engage in banter they usually are not causing trouble. For some reason Stage Door also attracts some prestigious people you wouldn't expect in there. Met some athletes , coaches, & some people in the entertainment business. When asked why they're at a dump, I get the same general response . They have all heard that it is an interesting place and a must visit. Most stay for multiple beers and seem to have really enjoy themselves. It is my daily must for at least 2-4 beers just because. Actually most of the homeless on Flamingo never bother me, the worst are on the strip.

I asked a security guard at SD why there is never any trouble.

    His reply was priceless:

"The drinks are so cheap here, NO ONE wants to get 86'ed".

Called in for a quick beer a few times when picking up supplies in the shop. Mrs didn't like the vibe but I found it fine.
