    My Trip Report

So this isn't quite a day to day trip report, so Sonya, please feel free to move this as I am not sure if it should be somewhere else!

I can be quite boring (pool during the day, a show or two and some gambling in the evenings but I am a major low roller so nothing exciting on my end with that!) Just a few musings:

I spent time hotel hopping as I couldn't get with it and added on a couple days and changed my mind too much:

Delano was up first, Fri night- Sun. Stayed at THEHotel years ago but not since the changeover. I had an accessible room so i had a crappy bathroom and a crappy view but loved the Delano pool and Bathhouse spa. I could do it again, the only major drawback is the location way at the south end and for some reason the casino didn't do it for me. I don't know why as i used to love it so who knows, I arrived so late the night before and I never travel well, so maybe I was just off. I could stay there again, in hope of a better room, and definitely for the Delano pool and spa.. I do feel bad though, Delano gave me freeplay and for some reason it didn't seem to work there (maybe the MLife upgrading was messing that up) but it worked at Aria..oopps:)

Sunday I moved over to Aria Sky Suites. I love Aria, that is my homebase..except how they changed the pool situation is somewhat of a drawback..so why not spend the extra for the Sky pool lol. I had a good promotion along with it so I could stretch it a little this time around. I was in a one bedroom which was really nice. Except I got sick and spent a lot of time in bed during the first half of my stay there. My luck. I didn't really get to enjoy being at Aria as much as I wanted to as I love staying there and everything there is really great including the spa (big spa person here!) but things happen...

Wed I moved over to Signature, my second homebase. Location is ok, I don't mind the walk, and I do like MGM's casino, and I always love a balcony..Although I felt like there was something lacking there this time, i don't know, maybe it was just me.. I do like that one of the pools is open until 10pm so you can just chill for a bit in the evening before going off to gamble, if you are the type of person like I am that likes to be at the pool at all hours of the day lol.

Thurs night, I decided to spring for it and try the Cosmo for two nights as I always wondered about it. I never really gambled there before so no promotion for me but rates they gave me were ok and why not. I liked it, the rooms are beautiful, I was in the east tower, loved the mix up of floor numbers, the elevators did take FOREVER though (on a Friday). I only hung out at the Bamboo pool on Friday, and was surprised there are a lot of crazy little kids that were there lol. I had a view of the Blvd pool and it probably would have been fun to hang out there too...the music from marquee didn't bother me at all its kind of fun listening to it while hanging out on the terrace. I wish I checked out the Cosmo spa before I left but didn't get to do so..I could stay there again if I get a good promotion and maybe midweek instead, although once again, I spend more money on food and drinks than gambling so who knows! Although, I don't think they attached my room to my identity number as the identity points do not look right... but i could be wrong....do they update it daily?

As for shows, I only saw Love (3rd time seeing it!) and I wanted to try to see another one, but getting sick sort of threw me off so that was it!

As much of a low roller that I am, I actually had some actual luck, which I never have and brought back more that I brought with me! Goes right into saving for the next Vegas trip!

I probably won't be back to Vegas until end of Feb/beg of March to take a break from winter, which is so far away! I was hoping a trip would work in a couple of weeks, but that feel through...Either way, next time, It will likely be just Aria since I would only come for a long weekend.
And who knows about next summer! The hotel hopping part wasn't so bad either to be honest, it's kind of fun, but maybe I would cut it down for next year:)

I hate the post Vegas sadness!! If you read this, thanks for reading, hope it wasn't too boring!

To cut down on the "post Vegas sadness," we try to plan the next trip before leaving on the current trip! This works great at Memorial Day, planning on Labor Day, and it works great at Labor Day planning on Thanksgiving trip. But it's tough leaving after Thanksgiving knowing it is 6 months until Memorial Day!

Sorry you got sick in Vegas but glad you were able to enjoy the trip. Don't rely on the website for Como identity points, they are not accurate. The only way to get an accurate number is to check with Identity Membership or a host.

Sorry you were sick. I like to stay in a couple of hotels; it's like two vacations in one.

Congrats on coming home a winner!

    Thanks for the great report!
I've heard that they've made some changes to LOVE. If I may please ask, what percentage of the show would you say is "the new stuff" compared to your first few times seeing it?
    Thank you!

So last time I saw it was a couple years ago, but technically there are more projections and the technology is a lot better, new videos and especially as Paul McCartney is seen in the video of the Yesterday song and other Beatles are seen in other songs.
