Kinda long story but would like to pack a large extra bag and store it at either the Gold Coast,Southpoint or the Rio or Orleans..I would pick it up around 4 weeks later..Is this possible and I would be willing to pay $50 or so if they have any kind of service like this?
TIA if you have any info on experiences or ideas..

When I used to bring checked luggage, I remember reading on the small print of the bell tag that there was a 10 day limit on storage. This was on the Strip (Flamingo/MGM). Other off-strip properties may be more flexible?

Does it have to be at a casino? I'm thinking one of those rental storage units would be in that price range and they're all over the place.

Think Ted is correct above me. I just looked at PublicStorage.com (the guys who do storage lockers) and a 5' x 5' in Vegas is 21 a month. If you only need it for 4 weeks you are looking at half of what you're willing to pay the casino.

Not sure how these things work, but if it's a set of 4 weeks that spans 2 months you're still paying less than you're willing to pay to the casino.

Not sure if other locker options are better or worse.

It would depend on the hotel. Will you be staying at one of those places when you return or will you just be using it as a place to hold the luggage? You would have to call each of those hotels and ask about their policies.

I actually did this last year - I stayed at Vdara in May of 2015 and was returning about five weeks later for the Fourth of July holiday. Since there is a washer/dryer in the suite, I decided to see if I could leave my lugagge there so I wouldn't have to drag everything back and forth. When I asked if I could leave my luggage with the Bell Desk for that amount of time, the front desk told me yes, and added that guests do it all the time. The back of the ticket said something about the length of time the luggage could be held, which made me a bit nervous, but when I returned I called down for my bags with the ticket number I had and they were brought up. It was perfect. By the way I tipped the bellman who picked up my bags before I left and tipped the bellman who brought them up when I returned but there was no charge to keep them there at all.

You need to check with the individual hotel to see if you are able to do that. Also depends if you are staying at the hotel, they may be more accepting if you have a reservation or are staying there. Some hotels have limited storage room (esp some downtown hotels) so they may not allow you to store your bags for a long period of time.

Last year I had a bowling tournament at Southpoint and wanted to keep my bowling bag there prior to the tournament (hold for a week since I was first going to San Fran for a few days) but the bellmen said that they don't allow you to store your bag more than 1 to 2 or 3 days. Even then they required me to have a reservation there (not that they checked to see if I actually had a reservation). I looked into their bag room and it was pretty empty so guess they only keep the bags there for a few days.

Also not sure about Gold Coast too as I asked them if they could hold my bowling bag and was refused.

The larger, newer hotels probably can hold more luggage so may be able to hold your bags but not sure about how long.

BTW, I was able to store my bowling bag at Mandalay Bag for 8 days before my tournament. I just came back and gave my ticket to the bellman who brought out my bag for me. I tipped him a $5 for his troubles (2 bags).
