Just home from 7 days in Vegas on Aug 4th and already booked another trip for Nov. 30- Dec 7th.

Staying at 2 places I've never stayed at before.... Been there just never stayed! Planet Hollywood for 5 days comped in an ultra hip room strip view. And then 2 days New York Ny 2 nights comped in a Madison Ave strip view room!!

We usually stay mid strip so the NY Ny stay will be different for us! Any must eat, must see, must do around there??? It's been awhile since we been down that end of the strip!!

Nine Fine Irishmen is one of our favorite restaurants (at NYNY) although some people we've taken there didn't share our tastes for the Irish food.
The walk through Excalibur to Luxor/Mandalay Bay is nice. There's a Fat Tuesday at Mandalay Bay and also MGM.
We also like Pub 1842 and Grand Wok at MGM if you venture over there!

Forgot the PH part- if you like the Beatles, you should check out the Beatles tribute band that plays there. We saw it a couple years ago and it was one of the best tribute bands I've seen. The guy playing Ringo tried to hit on my wife.
Also, they have a Lobster Me at Planet Hollywood (first place I tried it.)

I hear ya, sister! Just got back yesterday and I'm itching to pull the trigger on my next trip...I'm hoping for mid-late Nov.

If you have a sweet tooth, don't miss Blvd Creamery at Monte Carlo. Definitely the best ice cream I've had in Vegas. Plus they're quite generous with the tastings and let's face it, for two huge scoops, $5.50 is a damn steal on the strip.

One of my favorite things to do is to plan my next trip on my flight back home! Helps deal with the downer of leaving Vegas and makes the flight go by much faster although for my upcoming trip I'm getting a red eye back so I hope to be sleeping.

Onmyown32 - Lucky you having another trip planned already!
On your PH stay, if you make it across the pedestrian bridge to Cosmo some good places to eat there are China Poblano (a favorite) fun and great food, Holsteins for hamburgers, Milos for a great and reasonably priced Mediteranean lunch. On the strip near NYNY is Shake Shack - really good plus cheap burgers and milkshakes.
We haven't stayed at NYNY so would love hearing about it after your stay - we do enjoy slots there.

Usually plane ride home we talk about stuff to do next trip.
PH is great location with lots of options to eat.
We have stayed there 9 out of the last 10 trips.
You should have a good time.

Planet Hollywood is our favorite place to stay. We are staying in an Ultra hip strip view next month and can't wait.

Thanks all!!! We've played at planet Hollywood and loved the casino (love the diamond lounge as well!!) so excited to actually stay there! I'm just hoping New York Ny isn't a disappointment since it's been a few trips since we have even been down that way playing.

We just wanted to change things up got so stuck in just going to Paris or Bally's the last few trips.

If you are a coffee drinker, Sambalatte at the Monte Carlo is fantastic and definitely worth checking out.

The Ultra Hip rooms at PH are really nice and really bright. They also have mini fridges and coffee makers in them. You can get breakfast for under $5 at La Salsa Cantina or Blondies in the Miracle Mile shops. We like La Salsa better.
