When my wife and I went to Vegas last year for the first time ever we stayed at the Four Queens and we received numerous teaser offers etc. for months after we returned home. This year we returned for another trip and again stayed at the Four Queens; this time I had contacted a host and had gotten the casino rate for our stay. We had almost identical bankrolls for both trips yet this time I haven't seen any mailings or offers from the Four Queens since our return...I am just curious???

I thought this was going to be about room noise. We've gotten a couple of offers since our May visit.

I'm still getting my regular offers, but they have been scaled back. Now two nights and $80 in FP vs. 3 nights and $200 in FP. But I never give them more then one half day of play per trip. Most trips I don't even get a room unless my brother and SIL need a room. So, imo, they are pretty generous.

Your bankroll doesn't determine your offers. The amount of play per day is the key. What games did you play and how long did you play and what was the average bet ? Those are what determine your offers.

My offers are regular from them and haven't changed. I recently received the Sept/Oct offer.

I have four 'queens' in my life and it is close to impossible to have any three of them silent at once in any time frame.
    Let alone all four queens.

I always used to get flyers from both the 4 Queens and Binions. Recently I have got nothing. I have not played alot at 4 Qs but I DID play a lot at Binion's last trip so I should still be on their radar. I called and asked and they said I did not even qualify for casino rate. I thought you got casino rate as long as you had their card but obviously I am wrong!
I think they have tightened up....

They offered me the casino rate for my play at Binion's, but I needed to call and ask for it. It's really too bad, I have given them a lot of play for a lot of years, and I've never really gotten a legitimate offer from them. They normally had a decent craps game earlier in the morning, but last trip I didn't play there. I danced with who brung me, which is to say, whichever casino acts like they want my business has earned my business.

I realize I'm not separating Binion's from 4Q, but they're so closely tied I suspect both places follow each other in terms of offers and comps.

I do like both Hugo's and Binion's Steakhouse very much. I also had always thought the old coffee shop in Binions basement was great for a 24 hours breakfast.

So much has really changed for the worse in my opinion, and I'm only 48. In my business I really appreciate loyal clients, and it took me a bit to learn loyalty doesn't mean much to a casino. And I'm not really sure why as that basic rule should apply to all businesses. Repeat business is much less expensive than new business.

I stayed there twice in the last year, 5 nights in November and 5 Nights this past February. The first trip I played at a lot of different casinos but the second trip I decided to play mostly at the Four Queens to try to earn free nights for my next trip. I dropped at least 2k there during the second trip. One night I gave my card to the pit boss during a craps session to see my comps and he said I had a $35 credit for food. He told me I would start getting mailers too. Since my last trip I have received maybe 3 mailers with a few coupons.

I called last week to book my next trip in November and they gave me the casino rate for 5 nights (Sunday to Friday) I played less at other casinos and get offers all the time for 2 or 3 nights free at The D, Fremont, and Golden Gate. I got the impression early that they don't like to give away a lot but they also don't have a resort fee so I guess it evens out.

I thought about taking one of the other offers for my next trip but I just like staying at the Four Queens. I like checking into my room and hitting the Chicago Brew Pub for a few beers and VP. I like staying in the north tower so I can get to my room and back quickly. Early morning craps session before I go up and sleep for a couple hours. The Four Queens is definitely not the best place on Fremont but I still like staying there.

No changes for me, a video poker player. The offers still come every 2 months.

I haven't received anything from them in well over 5 years... but I play some there on on every trip (3-card, typically) & eat at least once at Magnolia's every trip.
I'm sure it's documented play that drives the offers (or lack thereof). I'm ok with that, as I still get offers from GG, Plaza, Boyd, DTG & El Co.

PS to any 4-Queens employees reading this: IF you offered 24-hour 2-deck blackjack like you used to, you'd get more play...just sayin'. My last few times in there in the early morning (7-8AM), there was exactly one blackjack table open - a multi-deck, no DAS shoe, which was packed. I can promise you that you'll never, ever get me to sit down at such a table.

With many casinos, when you initially sign up with their player's card they may send you "teaser" offers for free nights, etc. Basically they don't know you or what kind of gambler you are so they want to get a feel on what kind of gambler you are so they offer you teasers to get your business.

When you do return they will track your play more closely to determine if your play qualifies you for comps. As others have mentioned, your bankroll doesn't determine your offers, it's how you play and your average bets and play per day that determines if you get offers.

Unfortunately your play probably wasn't enough for them to send you future comp offers. That's probably why you aren't getting any mailers or comped offers. In the future you may get offers for reduced rates and a possible comp offer but basically the message is that you didn't play big enough or long enough to warrant comped rooms. That will change the next time if you play longer or make larger bets but I wouldn't do that just to get free rooms.

I hardly ever get comp offers anymore since I don't play large enough (mostly bet $5 at the tables) or long enough (hardly play very long on the slots, usually less than an hour or two a day) so I usually don't expect to get free night offers. In fact last year I inserted my 4 queens player's card into a machine and it didn't recognize it. I went to the player's club booth and they said they deactivated my account for non use so I would have to sign up again for a new player's card. I declined only because I wasn't planning on going to vegas soon so I didn't want to get comp offers until I was ready to go again.
