I am going end if September with a group to celebrate my b-day and having a cabana on Sunday is a must, I have comps at the mirage and caeser. I would appreciate any feedback as to which pool has the better atmosphere, looking for lively yet not crazy scene and hopefully a DJ

    Thanks

Cesar has a much better pool area. Also it gets real freaky there is you know what I mean

Totally disagree. The pool at Mirage is one of the best in Vegas

Both great pools, a little different...Mirage is very lush & tropical.
Caesars is not as tropical, but it is a luxurious pool area.
Both have a topless pool--that is where you will find the DJ.

Both pool areas are really nice. Some of the nicest in Vegas.

I've always thought the Mirage pool was one of the best in Vegas. If you like tropical, you'll love it and the cabanas there are somewhat private and not right in the middle of things but still let you see everything going on. The Mirage was our favorite hotel for years and then when MGM bought it they completely took the tropical theme out of the casino area but so far they haven't destroyed the beautiful pool complex. If you've never seen what the casino area used to look like, watch Vegas Vacation.

I thought that Mirge pool area packed the lounges in way too tight. I recall being almost thigh to thigh with the next person and it was very difficult to get out of the chair
