I've never stayed at Caesar's and I have the opportunity to stay there for free due to reward credits. The options I am choosing from are regular or premium rooms in either the Octavius or Augustus towers.
Can anyone that has stayed in either of them tell me which you prefer and why?
I'd like to secure my dates, but I want to make sure I am getting more bang for my "buck".
    Any info is appreciated!! <3

I always have stayed in the Augustus Tower, primarily because it's the closest tower to the 7* valet on Flamingo.

However, since they have modified the comp value of the room to $200 from $120, the next trip, I'm staying in the Forum Tower.

The Augustus Tower rooms are very nice, but if you're a single, there's a lot of things that you may not need, such as the large couch they filled up the rooms with.

Octavius is further back, but closer to the pool and the buffet. I have never stayed there.

I've never stayed in Octavius, but I've stayed in Augustus a few times.

Octavius and Augustus look about the same from the outside, but Octavius is newer and may have a slightly different floor layout, possibly with more (but not necessarily better) premium rooms.

If I was given the choice, I'd pick Augustus because it's closer to the casino and has better views on the Flamingo Rd side.

I've stayed in the Augustus tower several times. Premium will give you a view of the Bellagio fountains.

Just remember that for comps, the fountain view rooms are almost $200 a night vs. the non view rooms, that are only 145 a night. The view is nice, but it gets old after awhile.

ive stayed in both towers, yes octavious is the newest tower but augustus has just been fully renovated this year. i will pick augustus every time as stated, closer to the casino, less of a walk from the strip and the views are so nice

with the exception of better views, you cant go wrong with either one

We used to request Octavius simply because it was the newer tower with newer, more comfortable beds. Now that Augustus has been renovated, though, we prefer Augustus because it is closer to diamond/7 Stars registration and the casino (although, walking to the casino the back way from Octavius isn't far).

I doubt comp value matters to her since she's paying with Reward Credits. It would only matter to those playing enough to get food comped on the back end after clearing out their comp account first (since CET won't comp anything without taking all of your Reward Credits first).

Either one will be nice. I prefer Augustus Tower due
to reasons stated above - but Octavius is nice too and if you are
into the pool scene would be more convenient for you. Just depends
    on what you enjoy doing.

    Enjoy your trip!!

Octavius tower is a HIKE to get to the casino or the Strip. Agustus tower is a smaller hike. Here's the real key to staying there:
If you want to go to the Strip don't walk through the casino. Go out the side door by the Diamond lounge where the valet parking is located. Walk about 20 yards to the elevator that takes you up to the Flamingo Street walking bridge that goes across to the Bellagio. So easy-peasy to get to Bellagio/Bally's.

True, I am just going to use the RC to pay at the end of the trip.
Thanks so much for all the info. I feel like I made the best decision for us. We will be valeting and using the diamond check in. We will also be heading onto the strip quite a bit those two days. After looking at a map of the casino, I feel that the decision was the right one. You guys helped a lot in that decision. Thanks again!
Can it please be November already???? :woohoo:
