300 a day for slots, 90 a day for food and souvenirs. We do fine dining like the salad and sandwich selection at Walgreens. On the last day when we get our Grazie comps, we usually eat somewhere nice, like Lavo or Morels. I am a total low roller. My friend does about 1500-2000 a night in gambling.

$200 each per day usually for quarter vp or $10 pai gow poker. On top of that we save any £2 coins that we get through the year and generally have $300 to run through $1 vp (previously lions share money).

We go for 10 days so the budget has to stretch. Spend days by the pool and only really gamble at night. This year we are staying in an aria sky suite as I like nice rooms and pools but will uber to the Gold Coast for gambling after dinner.

I usually bring roughly $700 for a week with ATM funds available..I always leave $80 in cash in the car at the long-term parking airport lot also just incase I come home broke or lose a credit card.
No daily budget at all but I never carry a lot of cash on me,I force myself to play conservative or make the walk of shame trip back to the safe for more $$.
Do that a couple times during the day it's time to get some dinner and relax in room.
Good day I'm stashing Tito's and cashing some sportsbook tickets to spend the whole day downstairs and play a table game or two..
Nothing better than a nightime pocket dump of cash, titos and a couple black chips..oh my GL everybody!

I started taking $1,500.00 a day for gambling my first trip in 1983, and still do 33 years later. I was a single kid with money to burn then, now putting one through college and as second next year has froze the bankroll for me. Wife usually bankrolls up to $500.00 a day, but never more than that and usually less. We found over the years we gamble less hours in the day but the size of our wagers have increased. Our food and trinket budget has increased through the years though.

We usually allow $300 per day per person for gambling and keep each days budget in an envelope, at the end of the day anything left goes into a separate envelope that we try to bring home....but more often than not we go shopping the last day and spend anything left over...

So I have a question for the replied people...don't all answer at once.. $1k for my trip is the most I ever bring/brought/will bring to any casino on my ritual 3 day trip... I'm gonna say 2 things..then I'll ask my question..

    1. I comfortably play all three days just fine with that kind of money. Most of the time I'm up or even. There have been maybe 3 trips out of 20 trips where I lost it all by the 3rd day. But if I'm winning I leave up 40-100$ per session. So that's how I average it out to even or up. (Tons of self control; even loaded on liquor) The most of ever made off the $1k was like 1600$ and that paid for gas, car rental, resort fees and food for 2. So the trips usually end up even. I get my thrill.

    2. I never save for the trip that far in advance.. I plan it out about a month in advance and I take like 2 or 3 days of overtime right up to the point of leaving. That overtime solely easily covers that $1k plus food and expenses.

The questions for you if your so kind to reply...

    1. Do you guys save for months ahead ofg your anticipated trip?the Do a little overtime here and there. Save half or so of that bonus check?? Etc. We got a little extra on the tax return this year so we're going balls out..etc.. or just straight ballin on that bank account thats been saved and saying F*@$ it ? Living the dream baby!!! Eye DGAF????

What is budgeted for the entire trip gets split into days.
The days are split into morning, afternoon and nigh with mostly slow playing during the morning and afternoon.
This usually makes the night budget a bit more as money left over gets rolled into the night.
Then each day gets rolled into the next.
The bottom line is the initial budget has to start with an amount you can afford to lose.

I keep a separate account for Vegas that I fund with a combination of annual bonus, IRS refund and just saving up loose change. All of this is done well in advance of any Vegas trip. I'm salary, so paid OT is not an option for me.

$500/day is about right for me. Gambling only. Other expenses separate.

$5 BJ, $5 craps, $0.25c max bet VP.

I "steal from myself" to fund my bankroll. Any time I make a purchase, I round the dollar amount spent up to the next $10 increment and subtract that total from my checkbook.

For example, if I spend $23.50 at the gas station, I deduct $30 from my checkbook, leaving me with $6.50 "extra cash" that sits in my bank account.

A couple days before a gambling trip, I compare what my checkbook says to my actual funds and use the difference as a bankroll.

Nice! Im gonna try doing that, at least the separate account part. We have a 5 gallon bucket at home that we put change and 1-5$ bills (that's been saving for years for our Europe trip next year) There's nothing much to say about overtime other than I take it when I need extra money for a vacation otherwise I enjoy my straight time just fine with lots of time at home. :)

Bingo, I basically do the same. I'm retired and I go to LV two to three times a year. I have three separate checking accounts for my LV trips, plus my other checking accounts. I'll fund each LV account each month and when I return from a trip any money left over from that trip, including winnings, goes into my account for the next trip. When my next trip account is fully funded I'll start to allocate $$$ to my other two LV accounts. This has worked well for me for a long, long time.

As a side note I pay off all my bills and any CC debt each month before one cent goes into my LV accounts.

We are trying something new this year. We almost have two mason jars full of loose change that we have been dumping in. For us north of the border that includes toonies and loonies. I figure that will total close to $1,000 by the time our trip comes around. That will be our high limit slot pile for a night or two.

Otherwise about $1000 for the trip each - 4 days. Low rollers but enough to get rooms from cet most of the time.

Generally around $500 day though I will sometimes kick it up closer to $1000. Trip limit would be around $2500. Generally rooms and food are comped or very cheap and I usually don't do much in the way of shows.
