I was so excited to come across this board as I need advise!
I go to Vegas once or twice a year. This year I almost want to do something different. I always stay at Aria and then split it with either Bellagio or Delano. This time around, I know I will stay at Aria, but am rethinking Delano.

So now, two weeks out, I am still really torn and debating what to do. I have hardly ever gambled at Cosmo, and Palazzo and I am debating about either of those places. I am also considering Signature. I have stayed there before, and I do like the quiet, but I am not sure I want that this time around as it is pretty far from everything.

As for expenses, none of the three are really offering anything great at the moment, and technically, I could split my time between Cosmo and Palazzo 2 days each, but that would be so much switching around if I am staying at Aria too. What are your thoughts? I am a big pool and spa person, like bartop VP mainly, and I will be solo- so props to one of the hotels if they are a fit for a solo traveler. Thanks in advance for your suggestions, I appreciate it!

IMHO Cosmo and Palazzo are better than Signature. You can't go wrong with either one.

Cosmo gets my vote as a fellow bar top VP player. They don't have the best pay tables at the bar, but that extra loss is going to crafty cocktails and a good vibe (in my opinion). I guess depends what you are looking for in a bar top, but Bond bar is by far my favorite place to play. The tenders are awesome and the music is upbeat (dance music at night). I don't have my own real life experience but I hear the new sports book bar top VP is good too if you want a different scene. If you venture elsewhere in the casino they also have decent VP at the $0.25 level; not sure what level of play you are comfortable at but the higher denominations get you better pay tables. Been doing the cosmo for the past 6 or so trips and don't see that changing anytime soon unless the place goes downhill with major policy changes.

    how old are you?
do you want to be around 20-something club scene, or euro-trash club scene?
Cosmo for the former, Palazzo for the later

Cosmo VP has better paytables on the floor, but about the same on bartops with Venetian/Palazzo. If you're looking for a pool party go to Cosmo; relaxing, beautiful pool areas V/P. Modern, hip vibe at Comso; European, classic at V/P (it's a beautiful resort). Much more variety in gambling (two casinos), dining, and shopping at V/P and the spa is top-notch, can't speak to Cosmo's spa. Cosmo has the edge on bars. I really like them both, I don't think you can go wrong.

    Welcome aboard.

You might want to scan through postings on the STRIP HOTELS sub forum.

Personally, though I have never stayed at Signature - I doubt I would. I want to take the elevator down and be with a 50 feet of the casino.
