Does anybody know how the Friday's are at the bigger day pool scenes like Wet Republic (MGM), Hard Rock and Encore (Wynn)? I attended Rehab at the Hard Rock on a Sunday a few years back and it was really packed and we regretted not getting a daybed/cabana. I guess I'm wondering if a daybed even makes sense for a Friday. I would hate to spend hundreds of dollars only to find out that the pool is half empty and there are plenty of spaces everywhere.

I'll add that this is for Friday, 8/26. The Hard Rock doesn't brand Friday's as "Rehab" so I wonder if it is less packed. It is called "Backyard pool party." Wet Republic has a "Hot 100 Party w/ DJ Irie" which sounds fun. And Encore I guess I'm confused b/c they have two separate flyers, I guess one for day and one for night I think.

Much appreciated good sir. I guess that is why I was quoted just $250 for a daybed for up to 6 people with free admission for Hard Rock :)

Palms Ditch Fridays always seem to be packed; I avoid them like the plague and use the Palms Place pool on Fridays but you might want to look into that.

Not really sure what you are trying to say there PP but the ditch Fridays party has always been very busy during my stays at Palms and I've been there recently, May. Couldn't stay there last week as it was sold out but the Casino was very busy. There was a definite lull there for a few years but it seems to be busy again. When we were there in May the International Bikini Contrst was being held there and I met Hugh Hefner. Last week there was a Hooters convention and, as I said, the hotel was sold out.

Wet Republic Hot 100 is a bikini contest so buyer beware. Went in 2015 and 2014 and it is meh at best.

Hard Rock's pool on Friday does not compete as a pool party vs EBC, MDC, Wet Republic and such. One indicator is on their website they don't even post pricing for cabanas and such for Friday, while they do for Sat. and Sunday. It's that limited in regards to crowd. I've stayed at HRH my last 2 visits and did the Rehab pool party to mix it up on a Sunday and it doesn't compare to the the big players on the strip.

My pick would be EBC with DJ Snake for that day.

Yes, EBC does a day and night pool scene now.

    Hopr this helps.

Went to EBC on a Friday (granted it was labor day) and it was packed. However, I doubt there is a time when EBC is open that it isn't a fantastic party. Also went to Marquee on a Friday and it was a great time, lots of people.

It's really too bad that Hard Rock is so terrible now. That place used to be so much fun.

It did, thank you! I caught a similar type of vibe when browsing the Hot 100 pictures / videos online. I will be choosing Encore Beach Club. For reference, in case anybody else spots this post and is researching, I was quoted just $250 for up to 6 guests with free entry at the Hard Rock. And Wet Republic's cheapest upgraded entry option was $1,000 for a daybed for 6.
