Great report and pictures!! Amazing all the walking you are doing in the scorching heat. I could never walk that much in July in Vegas. Good luck the rest of the way!!

 

Last full day here. Picking up souvenirs and sports book bets for friends back home. Lunch at Du-Par's.

Enjoyed your TR immensely. Can't do Vegas in the summer because I can't handle the heat even though I live in Pensacola too. 30% chance of rain here tomorrow with a high of 92.

Ugh....welcome back to the perpetual steam bath. This desert heat was tolerable, even at 108.

We always enjoy sitting at the bar at Big Al's ... chatting with the cooks/servers. Great chowder and cold beer.

My last hurrah for this trip....mrjvegas and I went through a couple of pizzas at Pizza Rock which were really great. I told Jay I wanted to end my week in Vegas on a high note with a session win and a win on my final wager. We hit a Flintstones machine and we each bought in for a Hundo. Spins were running out and hit a bonus for about $130 as my last wager. Mission accomplished.



Thanks to all the great VMBers I met this trip for making my week here even better than it would have been. As I said in my opening post, I really needed this trip and boy did I have a great time!!!

Hope ya'll enjoyed this TR as much as I enjoyed sharing one helluva fun time with you.

Once I get home and boot up my desktop I'll do a summary of the good, bad & ugly along with some general impressions and takeaways from my week here.
