Welcome back! I was just through your "neck of the woods" a few weeks ago while driving to and from Florida. A very beautiful city--from what I saw as I was speeding through! And my minions got excited to see where the Titans played their home games.

When's your trip? My bride and I fly out to Vegas this Saturday.

Welcome back radiogeek. Good luck on your upcoming trip!

My sis and bil live in Nashville (he is a Grand Ole Opry fan with over 40 yrs attendance, even had a front row seat with a plaque dedicated to him, lol). We've visited several times and it is a lovely city.

Thank you for that - it will thrill my bil to know folks still know about him - he's up in years now and uses a walker due to vertigo but has the sharpest mind when it comes to CW music and its history - he was a CPA/financial guy by day but he lives and breathes CW and especially the GOO - over 40 years perfect attendance without missing a show before health issues recently. He has donated many hard to find items to some of the stars families for their museums/businesses and his will/estate is set up to donate the rest. His house could easily be mistaken for a museum - haha! Many of the old country stars like used to stop by the house to visit (and have a few) before shows and he was always a regular back stage. He misses that....
    Sorry - :D TMI - :)
