Development Update on Silverton - Anyone?

Has anyone stayed at the Sil lately? Is there still a construction project going on? I missed a stop there in November, but stopped by in June and a lot of the grounds were fenced off.

Stayed there a couple weeks ago, the new hotel is up and they are working on the inside. I was told it will be ready by early May 2016. The rest of the development, I dont know.

 

Yeah, lots of construction happening. They have re routed traffic around the property because of it and valet services take a long time because their lot is a far distance from their stand. A recent post on LVA mentions some work in the casino but it doesn't sound like a long project. There is a supposed to be a Cracker Barrel coming in too, but no specific word on where it will actually be built. Sounds like it will be part of Bass Pro Shops.

I was at the Silverton last Tuesday and Wednesday . The Main entrance at Bass pro shops is closed , you have to enter at the left entrance . We used the Valet , no wait at all . All in all not a big deal . If you make a $10.00 at Bass Pro Shops , you can take the receipt to the Players Club desk for $10.00 off food . Bob

Anyone have any updates re Cracker Barrell or timeshares they were building?

 

Cracker Barrel sounded like it would not be built immediately when they announced it. As for the timeshare tower, I don't know what the plan was but I wouldn't be surprised to hear something an it soon.
