Looking for info for quickest presentation, and who gives out the best tickets. We're looking to save some money and figure a presentation is a good idea.

The quickest probably 4 hours. The not so quick 6-8 hours.

Like a Virgin! (Sorry, I'm watching old episodes of Glee and they are doing a Madonna thing.)

As others have said, the time spent with time share reps (often assholes and ******bags) is not worth the vacation time forfeited.

Maybe someone will post a positive time share experience.

I did a quick search and found a lot of threads like this that said they aren't worth the time and the hard-sell. One report said the one they did at Planet Hollywood was only 2 hours, which seems short.

We did one in Tahoe for 2 free hotel nights and they hounded us forever on the phone. I think we were there close to 4 hours, with at least an hour of us saying No thanks. Not interested.

I'm all for being frugal, but I think there are better ways. Try doing a search for Time share presentations and you'll see several threads. I didn't see any recommendations though. Sorry!

I wouldn't recommend doing a time share just to save a few bucks. For many of the presentations they usually cart you away from everything so you are pretty much held hostage for the presentation. They won't allow you to drive to the presentation so you are stuck through the whole ordeal. More than likely you will have to wait for all the people attending to finish before they drive you back. Expect it to take at least 4 hours and sometimes even longer (like 6 to 8 hours or longer) so you should be prepared to spend your day with them. IMHO, my time in vegas is precious so I won't waste my time to attend a presentation when I could be doing other things.

There was one time when I actually wanted to go to a timeshare. I was interested in timeshares and wondered if it was worth buying into. It wasn't.

Timeshares can be a great deal... If you don't own them. Instead, rent someone else's on eBay. Often can rent for less than annual maintenance fees if you are flexible.

As for the presentations, when I was asked, all of the shows were the ones you can get deep discounts for. No cirque du soleil, Elton John, or any top dollar headliners. I don't get to Vegas anywhere near enough for my time to have that little value

Don't. Do. It. I have relatives who love to do them, but only for 3-day vacations to Cancun and such. Not for show tickets to some cheap show or a $50 dining credit.

I don't wish to pile on, but you are going for 4 days and 3 nights.....what is the value of your vacation time?

you could make more money begging on the bridge during that 8 hour span that you are willing to sacrifice in a time share

Our first trip we had free show tickets with our stay at Aria. We chose Chris Angel and our free seats were terrible. Right at the very back.

Earlier that day we decided to walk off a a buffet and we went out the ass end of Mandalay Bay and walked down to the Vegas Sign. Met a couple that was also walking who was bragging about getting free show tickets for sitting through 4 hours of a time share presentation.

Guess who they were sitting beside that night at Chris Angel? Yup worse seats in the house. Not even remotely worth it.
