A lady sitting right next to me playing 3 card poker at Caesars just won a million dollars by hitting the 6 card Royal flush in diamonds! The suits told the rest of us it'll be a long wait and we should find another table to play. I took pictures on my phone but don't know how to transfer to this message board. Really exciting to witness but wished it happened one player to her right! Lol

Wow! Two years ago the person sitting at the next table over from me got the six-card diamond royal flush on three-card-poker at Planet Hollywood. I'll be in Vegas tomorrow, and I'm sure I'll hear about it.

Great for her. Maybe she is a long lost relative (LOL!).

In any event, I am sure it took quite a bit of time. They will review all the tapes to make sure there was nothing funny going on. By any of the players or the dealer or the shuffler (if there was one). They will hold on to that money as long as they can before cutting her a check.

By the way, I think Uncle Sam just earned about $300,000.

Wow! I would be in a penthouse treating all my new "friends" to bottle service and dinners the rest of the trip. Lol Since I'm in NY I bet they would take $400K in taxes! ;)

Possibly. But the review was an hour minimum, probably longer. I think the one time I saw a straight flush (not even a royal) happen at "let it ride" at my local they took at least 30 minutes sweating over much, much less than $1M.

I wish it would have too! Sonya recently wrote up some guidelines to posting pics in this thread.

I hope you can find similar luck to her on the rest of your trip!

When I saw it happen two years ago at PH, it took 3 hours for the winner to get paid. They said a rep from Shufflemaster has to come out to check the machine.

The only bet that matters as far as the million dollar jackpot is the 6 card bonus bet, and people rarely play more than the 5 dollar minimum on that.

It's already a terrible bet to begin with (around 18% house edge) and since the top payouts are fixed amounts, betting more than the min only increases the house advantage.

I thought they stopped the million payout. What do they pay for ace to 9 in the other suits what payout for 5 card Royal
Is the million payout at all vet properties

That is a long wait but I would be tempted to wait and try to get a "treat" lol... I know I am a pretty big "cheapskate" and I generally do not tip well. But If I hit that, i would tip everyone In the vicinity lol maybe even the person who was sitting at my spot before me!

Recently, it seems as though some of the CET props still offer the million for diamonds, whereas others now just offer 100k for all four suits. I've seen both pay tables in the past year or so. Regular royal is 1000 to 1.

I asked about this last year since Ballys only pays $100k on the 6 card. I was told because Paris/Ballys had already paid out the million once (or twice, I can't remember), they cut it back to the $100k. The hotels that still have the million haven't paid it out I guess.
I played 3 card at Ballys a few years ago with the lady that won the million at Paris 2 nights later.

    Happy birthday to me!

I think most non-Vegas properties have cut back the million dollar diamond super royal as well. They make ~18% on a $5 bet with it and ~19% without it. What a bunch of pussies. It's probably one of the biggest house edge bets CET offers this side of the "Fire Bet"! They could at least keep the $1M dream alive.
