So the trip was brought up over a year ago, and I've been saving diligently ever since. Ace is onboard at the beginning to the point of "yeah, I'd like to see Vegas again", and that's it. No other information is ever forthcoming, no details or expectations or wishes or discussions or.....anything! So I finally bring it up (again!) 8 weeks ago and get "I don't care". I bring it up again 5 weeks ago and get "I don't care". So I'm about to chuck the whole idea in to the trash bin and think well, we just saved a butt-load of money by not going. (we're degenerate gamblers.) I hit him up tonight with a "last chance, I need to either ..... or get off the pot" and he says well hell yes he would like to go to Vegas, he told me so several times and I'm saying you did not you said I don't care and how in the world do we get on such different pages after almost 40 years of marriage and anyway we are now booked with downtown rooms and SWA flights and I'm so excited I can't stand it. So I present to us for our 40th wedding anniversary this year: a 4 night trip to downtown Vegas!
One couldn't ask for a better 40th anniversary gift - congrats, best of luck, and be as degen as you like!
