It's 2:00 A.M., you are at the Golden Nugget and you have to have something to eat right now.

    Where do you go?

Haven't stayed there in awhile, but the sports bar used to have
a pretty good place to get a sandwich or chicken tenders. Also the
cafe used to be open 24 hours. Don't know if they still are 24 hour places
but ate at both and not bad. I had a reuben sandwich at the sports bar minus
the sauerkraut and it was good. Not huge like at a deli - but good.

Planning a trip Breeze? I would like to have a beer with you sometime.
I'd pay for room service if I didn't scope the place out first for late night..

16 days and a wake up. I've stayed at GN 5 times, just fishing for a new perspective.

The hot dog place at the D or Dupars. In GN only? No idea.

Dupar's or Pizza Rock (not sure if Pizza Rock is open that late weekdays).

If I'm by myself, I run into Walgreens and grab a sandwich, chips, or whatever and head back to the room.

With a group, probably hit up Dupars.

Is DuPars 24/7? If so this would be my choice.

Breeze, there's a place at GN called Claim Jumper, 24/7 restaurant that has good food.

Subway at 4 Queens has filled the need for us many nights when we need to eat right now.

Weird - I tried to google the hours to make sure it was open at 2 am but can't even see it listed on the 4Q website, they only list their own restaurants.

I'm pretty sure it's open late night though.

I've been hearing about DuPars for years but have never been. We may have a winner here. Is this in the rear of Golden Gate?

Mine is Binions Cafe Hobo Stew with a piece of cornbread. Have them pack it up to take back to the room. Always reminds me of a soup my mother used to make growing up.

Hot dog schleppers at the D most likely. Pizza Rock will be closed by then, otherwise my favorite for a quick downtown snack.

It's a new tradition that I always get Magnolia's Steak and Egg breakfast on the first day.

See, this is what's cool about Fremont. All of these places within a 5 minute walk.
