I just received a mailer from the Downtown Grand. It got me wondering..do they still have very few table games with limited hours?

When I walked through last month at about noon on a midweek day I believe there was only ONE table open -- Blackjack.

Just stayed there on a weekday around 10am on Tuesday they had a few tables open. Couple of BJ 2 deck pitch $10 min and craps table. Not a lot of table action going but given the size of their casino, your not going to find a huge footprint.
Still good rules for downtown and I mad a few bucks.

I was there last week and during the day there was only 1 table open, when i walked by they were changing cards and didn't bother to wait, I left and never played there the whole trip, it's a nice little casino, they just dont get it.

I went to DTG a few times in early May and I got the impression that they try to keep a couple of blackjack tables open 24/7, but you might find it tough to play craps or roulette before 11 am.

I contacted them via their website and asked about their blackjack games and indeed they do now have blackjack around the clock.

I stayed there a couple of weeks ago. There were more tables open in the evening than in the first half of the day (usually 1-2 tables open).

I was bummed because even though they had a three card poker table, it was never open while I was staying there.

Literally never open? Like at any point during your entire stay? Jesus that's brutal. As someone who enjoys carny games when not playing VP, I can definitely scratch this place off the list of potential properties to try. Thanks for the info!
