I had a woman hit me in a Casino for "letting" someone play the machine I "promised" her. First of all, I never actually promised her anything. She coerced me into half agreeing to let her get the machine when I was done with it by barking at me to give it to her as soon as I was done with it. I had JUST come on it like one minute earlier! WTF! I meekly and reluctantly said something like,"Um, uh, okay," because I felt intimidated by her.

I got up to get change after I got just a little up, and was planning to go back on the machine and lo and behold, someone else was already on it. I sat on the machine next to it, and the woman came back and cussed me out for letting someone on the machine I "promised" her and hit me! What the f-ck! Before I could report her ass to Casino staff, she left, believe me, I was getting ready to find an employee and report her for putting her hand on me. I was not a child and I was not her child so she had no right to touch me, I didn't even know her before she ordered me to give her the machine that I had JUST came on. She's lucky I wasn't a violent person! She could have ended up in the ER! You don't just hit random people in a Casino! I was just there to make a little money in slots, not there to be hit and cussed at!

I can't stand the husband and wife couple, with one or the other sitting at the adjacent machine watching and not playing. Then you ask to use the machine and they act annoyed and say "I'm playing," then take out a $5 bill and insert it in the machine without playing. This happens at least once a trip.

I was told to be quiet at a Craps table in AC. I was doing my usual calling for the point, "COME ON HARD SIX!" and this guy elbows me and tells me to knock it off because I'm making the shooter nervous.

    Be Quiet?

    At a Craps table??

    WTF!!!

Can't stand it when people sit down, spin three times then start getting mad that they haven't hit anything.

I also hate the "Must be nice" comments when you hit something decent... I usually say, "It is, you should try it"

Yeah, I get that. Even not in a casino, lol.

Just be careful in Vegas, it can be a diversionary tactic.

I was a having a good run in general and just had a big hit on a Mr Cashman bonus. The woman next to me was all into my machine and she wasn't winning on hers. When I was able, I hit the spin button so that the coins would finish paying early. The final spin was a dog and the bitch next to me said that's what you get for stopping the other spin. I wanted to clock her but then I looked at my winnings and figured winning was enough,

I can't stand superstitious craps players. "Don't say 7! I always lose when someone says 7!"

Oh the most mathematically likely number often shows up? Shocker.

I play slots, a lot, and for long periods of time! So I've experienced first hand some annoyances over the years and also seen and heard some over the top stuff - but that would take a book.

Sitting down at my favorite slot and having a stranger tap me on the shoulder 'excuse me, but just thought I'd tell you a guy just won a huge jackpot on your machine, so you might want to try another machine'. Really, is that something I need to know? I mutter 'thanks for letting me know' and just keep on playing, but it kind of takes the wind out of ones sails.

Seeing a lady sit down at a machine next to me, put her card in, put her money in and just then a lady walks up to her and says in a loud accusatory voice "that's my machine, I just left to get money from the ATM". I had only been there myself for a few minutes so who knows?
The poor lady sitting next to me looks at me as though to ask, what do I do? In my mind, there was no card in the machine, there was no money/credit in the machine, there was no chair turned backwards or leaning on the machine (which folks sometimes do when they leave for a moment) to indicate anyone was 'playing' that machine. The lady who had just sat down, cashed out, got up and left.... I left too - no way am I playing next to that kind of grief.

I must say, the pleasantries and graciousness outweigh the annoyances in my experience.

My pet peeve is people in locals who set chair up against machine and leave to go play another machine. Had another lady tell me she was going to run home and get something. No money in it, no card just left. Another was a man who came in and sat down and put 5 dollars in and pulled out his kindle and started reading. After about 30 mins of him just sitting there reading, I asked if he was going to play it. He said he was just holding it till his wife got off work in about another 30 mins. I asked security about it and they told him to play or vacate. He was pissed and told us that's his wife's machine as long as he sat there. He finally reluctantly agreed to play so about every minute or so he would play one credit. What makes people think this is ok?

At the Gold Coast years ago I sat down between my grandpa and two young guys to play a keno machine and within five minutes I hit a 6 spot. The guys got pissed that I won so quickly they started throwing their coin wrappers at their screens. One bounced off and hit me so I told them "sucks to be losing doesn't it?"

I have been on the side of the "Got up to get change, someone else was on machine, when I came back," someone posted about in a previous post. I left my bag that had no money in it by a machine that was paying me well, I was up, so I went took my wallet and my TITO to a TITO machine to cash my winnings.

When I came back, I saw an older gentleman sitting at the winning machine I was at. I said,"Excuse me! I was at this machine and just went for literally a minute to cash my winnings! That's my bag that is right by the machine!" The older gentleman replied "Well, you didn't leave any money in(leaving money in a machine is actually a horrible idea as I have had scumbags steal my money from my machine when I left the money in to prove that I was still on the machine while I had a TITO run or a bathroom run)) or a card in here, so there is no way to tell that anyone was on it! You want me to get off of this machine? I'm not moving!" I once again pointed out about the bag I left by my machine and he replied,"That really means nothing. You could have abandoned that bag for all I know!"

The woman on a close slot machine looked at us like,"The older gentleman has a point." I am not a violent person, but I was feeling really aggressive and had very violent thoughts,(It was a winning machine in my defense) and I knew I had to go get away from him before I ended up in real trouble, so I got my bag and went to another slot. A winning machine is not worth going to jail over so I left the situation before I could get really violent.

About an hour later, he was still on the machine! I was hoping that he would have left by now(I had hoped that the machine had turned cold on him and he split)and I could go back on the machine, but nope, he was still on it! Drats! That should have been my winnings!"

Not understanding your point of view. You abandoned your machine. You need to put a napkin on it or tilt the chair or something so people know it's on hold.

Don't like scammers..I was playing VP at the sportsbook bar at the Rio one night and I had a few drink tickets from sports bets.As soon as I put a new $20 in my machine a group of a few guys sits down at one of the tables there,so I get up to give them the tickets as I usually do...10 feet away..back to my seat and there is a guy standing/ eying my machine.Had I taken a few more seconds he was gonna hit cash-out was my first thought.

.I sit down and the BS starts..Hey buddy can I use my card in your machine-I need x amount of tier credits to stay the night per his host lost his Credit card and says he just got in from somewhere with the proof being his airline boarding pass. There was some more to it but I forget..he had an answer to everything I called him on.....Sucks you want to be a nice guy and fast calculate truth or fiction.
I blew him off and few minutes later there he is across the bar talking to another player drinking his Amstel Light...Told the bartender about it but wtf does he care?.But here is a nice relaxing VP session where you just helped out some tourists and end up watching WTF this guy is doing and possibly gonna scam someone else..whole vibe ruined..

As far as Cigarettes go,I'll surely share with a fellow VP player who is out,but no free ones given unless for a buck in AC where it's $15+ a pack in the gift shop.

More confused as to why you cashed out your winnings if you planned to play more.

One time, I had just sat down at a bank of slot machines and had barely started playing when a woman came up to me and asked, in an irritated voice, if I had been playing the one to the right of me. I said no, mine was the only one in that bank I had played. She said she had left the chair leaning against it with her card and a few credits in it. The chair was down, no card and no credits. I said it was like that when I sat down. She stopped short of accusing me of anything and left upset. I never thought to suggest she talk to security.

Another instance, I was at local casino.
Just sat down with a friend and we starting talking, in normal voices.
Some old batty 4 seats down, told us to be quiet!
Sheet....people were whooping and hollering at the tables behind us, and no one said a thing.
