Just got back from 5 days at Caesars. We had room 3762 in the Augustus Tower. I can report that the 37th floor has been totally redone. Everything is pristine, new paper, paint, carpets. Not a stain in sight. Great fountain view and a Keurig coffee maker. Get your own K-Cups much cheaper than the $13 for a small coffee set. We were very pleased with the room.

Thanks for the post Wizard950! My wife and I are staying at Caesars Laurel Collection in the middle of July for our 15th Anniversary from a Sunday through Thursday. We have been to Vegas numerous times but never stayed at Caesar's. They comped me the room so I couldn't say no. Does anyone have any recommendations for upgrades of what I should ask for, if anything, upon check-in? I know that I will ask for a fountain view, but is there anything else such as a certain floor? I look forward to everyone's feedback.

Just keep in mind that if you request a fountain view, that will prevent you from staying in the Octavius tower, which is the newest. Although they have started renovations on the Augustus rooms, which is the fountain view tower, so maybe you'll get one of those.

Octavius Tower does have some fountain view rooms -- I've stayed in one. However, the views are farther away, and at an angle.

Staying in a Augustus room, can you get a high floor room and a fountain view?

I reserved the Laurel Collection and assumed it was all in the Augustus Tower.

last year they combined the towers into the laurel group but at checkin, ask for augustus fountain view if that is what you want, octavious is right by the pool but also a farther walk to get there...

to add to the renovations, when I went in march the rooms in augustus still had the insert room key, pull key out to open locks, now when I went in june, they had a new setup where you just put the key near a black circle and it opens it, i never lost a room key because it stayed in my wallet, it was strong enough that I just pulled my wallet out, touched the circle and back in my pocket it went

We stayed there last week, and it was a great experience! Everything smelled "new house" and was wonderful. We were on the 31st floor with a fountain view, and it was definitely high enough for a good view of the show/Strip.

Has Caesar's ever used Roman numerals for their doors? That would be somewhat confusing.

What are the Palace Deluxe King rooms like? The pictures look nice. Comped 3 nights, but never stayed here. What tower are these in please?

Heading to Vegas in a couple weeks. I just noticed on my reservation that I am now in the Laurel Collection Octavius tower instead of Augustus tower. Not sure why it changed. Anyone have an opinion on what tower if preferred?

The Octavius Tower is way in the back. Even if you park in the Flamingo Rd. 7* valet, it's a little bit of a walk. It IS closer to the pool and the buffet.

So far I have been fortunate to always be booked in the Augustus Tower.

thanks for your input DaiLun. I am assuming I should request an upgrade to the Augustus tower for a fountain view? I am trying to make sure to see if that is an actual upgrade or not.
