Flamingo GO or Monte Carlo Deluxe

Looking for feedback - never stayed at Monte Carlo, been to Flamingo three times prior, all in FAB.

I am Gold Level with MGM, but only have that through Hyatt's program swap.

I view both pools as equal.

Kind of a toss up on what else tips the scales.

 

I am guessing you might be able to get a free, or cheap room at Flamingo, but would pay the going rate at MC. Being Gold via Hyatt will have no bearing on the price at MC. What rates do you see when you login to each?

And, where would you "prefer" to play?

 

Rooms are pretty much a wash price wise for me.

This is more of a "what's better" consideration. I view the pools as equal. Gaming-wise, I've played at both and enjoyed myself. Don't know much about the food options at MC. Did spend an evening at the piano bar and enjoyed it. Don't know what else is there for food. Flamingo seems a little better to navigate, but the elevators can be a pain.

 

Depends when going and when the debranding and construction starts on MC into ParkMGM and NoMad. Flamingo, much better location

 

I'd pick Flamingo Go room for the location.

 

Planning for last week or so in August. Flamingo location is much better, but MC isn't terrible.
