Was looking ahead to book for Halloween at MSS, when I get my Oct offer(which should be out in a week or 2). Looks like every weekend is "sold out" other days and first 2 weeks in Nov. No other Boyds is "sold out" except MSS and Cal. Could it be for a bunch of Hawaiian charters? Doubt they would honor my offers at Fremont which has no dates blocked.

I just checked Boyd's website for Vacations Hawaii. It looks wide open on those dates.

I am also lucky, only the first week of Nov is sold out for me (in Nov) at MSS and 2 of the 5 weeks in Oct are also available. Halloween night is open for me. The Cal is pretty sold out for much of the month of October for me, including week days. I am a ruby member so not sure if the higher cardholders get more open dates.

Even when they first updated calendars, they were posted as sold out. weird. Yeh a couple weekends open and I have Halloween open. But usually get 4 nights per month including weekends and don't see more than 2-3 weekdays available at that time. I am sapphire. Everything is open past the beginning of November. I don't see how they are sold out unless saving for Hawaiian junkets

When I was at MSS in May, I saw a host (Brenda) about staying over Halloween w/e. (I get 4 nights being Emerald)
She said it was getting filled up and book as soon as possible.
I booked Oct. 28-31 the next day.

Even if they are "sold out" you might still be ok based on the level of your offer. They hold rooms in reserve for comps.

When I reserved rooms at Gold Coast a couple weeks ago on BConnected, I noticed that the majority of nights were unavailable. A week later when I called to make some changes, I learned that the entire month was "wide open," although most nights were still blocked out on their website! In other words, the website screwed up, and I've seen similar and other type errors over the years … a lot of them. It's always good to call if you can't book what you want online.

Will be there next month and October offer should be out by then. Will ask at host desk about it, if nothing updated sooner

I am not a Boyd's cardholder (yet), just trying to book our room for October (Sun-Fri) at the Cal using their online system. I figured out that October's calendar wouldn't be released till May 1, and remembered to check on May 6, and it was already too late. Huge swaths of the month already sold out according to their website. Very disappointing - and I have wondered ever since why October booked up so early and so quickly.

Booked MSS instead, but only got 4 out of the 5 nights I was planning our trip for. MSS was rather booked up also.

Did you see my post two above yours? October at the Orleans is showing every night available on my BConnected calendar. Like I said, it's not uncommon for the calendar to indicate rooms aren't available when, in fact, they are! Never give up without a phone call.

hosts are very good at mss-----give them a call----if you can not get into one of the properties you like downtown like mss they may be able to get you in to the cal or the freemont ,all boyd properties-----this does not work for other boyd properties that are not downtown-----for the other properties you may want to check with the reservation person at gold coast and if they can not get you in there they may be able to get you in the Orleans or sams town etc.----while the boyds card and comp points are good at all boyds properties they seem to separate the downtown and local casino groups------
